    Last Friday, I learned a lesson about telling lies. Early in morning, I didn't want to go to school, but I pretended to feel ill. My mother was very worrying when I told her. Dear Sir，

Thank you for your offer of invite me to the summer English course in your school. As for your choice between the two courses, I prefer the four-week course for 60 hours of study. Because of this would allow me more times to do some travelling and make a few new friends either. Of all the subjects I'm learning at school, I like English best. I had been learning English for 6 years but my spoken English remains poorly. So I hope to take this chance to improve it. If is possible, I'd like to stay with a family for a couple of days in order I can know some customs in England. I believe I will have wonderful time this summer.

    As Christmas is coming, I plan to buy something for my parent. What I want to give back is a VIP card of a health club but neither of them is doing enough exercise. My father works very hardly as a teacher, spending most of his time at school. My mother loves reading and often bury herself in her books. Therefore, all of them should exercise more from now on.

    It was raining light when I got up yesterday. After a quick breakfast, I took a umbrella with me and went to school in a hurry. It was fifteen minutes after school began. I was running quickly when I see an old man walking slowly in the rain. I stopped, wondered whether to help him or not, as I might be late for school. Then I made a decision walk him home.     Learning English is not so difficulty. I'm glad to give you some advices. First of all, be brave to express you in class. Speaking with others can great improve your fluency. Speaking is not about how large your vocabulary is. On a contrary, it is about how well you can use the words you know. Second, read as many as possible. There are many things can be learnt while reading. It was not until you read them for many times that you'll be able to write English correctly yourself. But in order to write well, you'd better to remember some good sentences and structures.
