    It's important for each of us to be healthy and happy. Do you want to improve (改善) your health and feel better? Here are some ways.

    Eat whole foods. Eat some healthy foods, such as fruits, vegetables, nuts and a little meat. If you have a healthy eating habit, you'll be happier.

    Exercise. Take up a sport you really like. If you want to keep healthy, try to exercise for 30 minutes a day, twice or three times a week.

    Get enough sleep. It is best to get eight hours' sleep a day. A cup of milk before sleeping may help you get a good sleep.

    Keep yourself busy. This is very good because it stops you from having bad habits. To keep yourself busy, you can walk around the house, spend time with your pets, do sports, or do a hobby you enjoy.

    Spend time with your friends. Spend time and have fun with them. Talk with them. But you shouldn't talk about anything bad. You should stay with the people who are healthy and happy.

    Great weather! It was sunny yesterday. We arrived in Beijing at 9: 00 in the morning. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} We went to the hotel by taxi. After lunch and a short rest, we took a bus to the Summer Palace. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} While we were in a boat on Kunming Lake, we heard someone singing Beijing Opera on the bank. {#blank#}3{#/blank#} In the evening we walked to Tian'anmen Square because it was next to our hotel. We took some photos there. {#blank#}4{#/blank#} This morning when we walked to the Palace Museum, we passed by (路过) a square and saw some people flying kites. The kites were in different shapes (形状) {#blank#}5{#/blank#} They were really beautiful. I'll go to the aquarium (水族馆), and then Beihai Park. The day after tomorrow we'll visit the Great Wall. I hear it's very great and I think I will have great fun playing there.

    Have you ever stayed in a hotel? Most Chinese hotels often provide guests with things like disposable(一次性的)toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo and slippers.

    Many guests like the idea because they don't have to bring their own. But, if you travel to Beijing, remember to bring your own things. Starting from June, some hotels in Beijing will no longer provide guests with these disposable things. They want to ask people to use less disposable things.

    Many disposable things are made of plastic. People throw them away after only using them once. It is a waste of natural resources(资源)and is very bad for the environment. Do you know, one Chinese person makes as much as 4o0kg of waste a year！ Most of that waste comes from disposable things. In Beijing, people throw away about 19, 00C tons of plastic bags and 1, 320 tons of plastic lunch bowls every year！Plastic can take between 100 and 400 years to break down. So the less plastic we throw out, the better. So, wherever you travel, bring your own things and use them again and again.

    Back at home and school, you can also do something to make our world a better place. Try to do these things in your daily life: Use cloth shopping bags, not plastic ones. After using a plastic bag, wash it out and let it dry. Then you can use it over and over again. Do not use paper cups. At your school dining-room, use your own bowl and chopsticks instead of disposable ones.

    To protect our environment and our home, it is very necessary and important for us to save natural resources.
