    I still remember how my spoken English was improved. In a beginning, I always kept silent in our oral class to avoid make mistakes. Before long my teacher got to know about my situation. He encouraged me to speak out that I thought. Whenever I made mistakes and felt discouraging, my teacher and my classmates would help me figure out how I must have avoided them. I also joined in an English club to get more chances to speak. Practice made perfect. Now I can talk fluent in English.

    Just as the saying goes, “Every bean has its black.” Don't afraid of making mistakes. Learn from mistakes, and success is just waiting for us.

    It was about 6 o'clock in the afternoon when I was walking along the road, heading home from school. The wind blew so hard that, all of sudden, an advertising board by the roadside was blew down to the ground. Before realizing that had happened, I was knocked down by the board. I feel great pain in my legs and could not move. At that moment, a man who ran up to help me. Seen I was badly hurt, he drove me to the hospital immediate. After calling my parents, the man left without leaving my name and address. What I remember is that he is a middle-aged man. I want to finding the man and express my thank.

    Challenges of life are of great importance in our grow. They remind me of my days in senior high school which I joined in the military training after I entered senior high school. It was the first time that I have lived away from my home, so I found it difficult to fit. And the training officer was strict with me. I once thought I couldn't stick to the end. But anyway, I was succeeded. The trials made it much easy for me to adapt to life, but I think the difficulty I came across have now become a precious memory in my life.

    In short, learning to regard the challenges of life as the stepping stone to future success and make the best of them.

    Before Christmas our school hold a winter sports meeting. As it was the last one at school; we did what we could perform well in an opening ceremony. Greatly to our happiness, our show was very much successful. My classmates took part in various events, or our head teacher even joined us in the relay race. Except Wang Lin; several other athletes also ranked Top 5. Some brought cameras to record the excited moments. It was quite a wonderful experience and that we obtained was great fun. Those out-of-class activity in deed helped us relieve the pressure from learning, and promoted us enthusiasm for future study.
