My name is Grace. Today is Sunday. It is a nice day. It is also my grandfather's birthday. He is 80 years old. My parents and I go to his home. We don't get up early because the alarm clock (闹钟) doesn't work. We don't have much time for breakfast. We go to a supermarket to buy some fruit and a birthday cake at eight thirty. Then we go to my grandparents' home quickly. We get there at 11:15. My grandparents are very happy to see us. We have lunch at 12 o'clock. After lunch, we play chess with my grandfather. Lei Feng Spirit Carrying on

    On December 18, 1940, Lei Feng was born in a poor peasant family in a little mountain village of Hunan Province. He didn't go to school till 1950. At the age of 18, he worked as a steel worker. He was often praised for his good job. On January 8, 1960, he joined the army. In the same year, he joined the Communist Party. He loved the Party and the people, and constantly did good for others. “It's my duty，” Lei Feng always said when he was thanked by those. He became a model soldier one year later. Lei died in an accident in 1962.

    Do you have a tail? Of course not, we know. But tails are like opinions, actually, everyone has them: fishes, birds, most reptiles, and even some of our closest relatives

    Since tails first evolved(进化) at least 500 million years ago. Geckos (壁虎)use them to store fat. birds use them to steer through the air, But for most mammals (哺乳动物).{#blank#}1{#/blank#}Yet, as you get closer to humans on the evolutionary tree, tails disappear, Gorillas(大猩猩)don' t have them, and neither do chimps(黑猩猩) or any other apes (类人猿) including us, of course, To understand why, take a look at how we walk.

    People drink a lot of tea in Japan. People drink a lot of tea in South Korea too. In Vietnam, people like to drink coffee first. Then they drink tea. In England, people like to drink tea with milk.

    Many people drink black tea in the US. In the South, people like to drink sweet tea. Sweet tea is cold black tea with sugar in it.

    Most tea comes from China. Some tea comes from India or Sri Lanka.  Kenya, Japan and Indonesia also grow tea.

    Drinking tea around the world

    Great white sharks in the Pacific Ocean. Wildebeest (角马)in Africa. Arctic terns(北极燕鸥) in the Atlantic. At first, these animals seem quite different. One swims, one walks, and the other flies. But they all have one thing in common, They all migrate(迁徙).

    Some migrating animals move to a place with a better temperature. Some go to find food or water. The groups travel as one, but during the trip, they face many different challenges.

    One challenge is distance. Some migrating animals take very long trips. For example, one great white shark swam from Australia to South Africa and back. In nine months, it swam about 20, 000 kilometers!

    Another challenge is finding enough food and water during the journey. For example, each Mali elephant needs over 200 liters of water each day. To get this, they need to go from one waterhole to another.

    Besides, migrating animals have to keep away from other animals that want to eat them. The zebra (斑马) has to avoid lions. Traveling as a group helps keep them safe. When one zebra is in trouble, the other members make a circle around it.

    By working as a group, migrating animals travel to live better lives.
