Mike and John: Happy birthday to you, Sarah!

Sarah: I'm nine.

Mike and John: Here you are, two bags and some dolls(玩具娃娃)．

Sarah: Thank you. How many dolls?

John: Four dolls.

Sarah: Let's eat the cake.

Mike and John: Great!

    Let's go to the nature park. There are many trees and flowers in the park. There is a river in the park. There are many fish in the river. You can go boating. You can fish. You can swim. You can play football, too.

    Tim's mother is ill. She has a fever. She is in bed. Tim is with his mother. He has to look after(照料) his mother. He can't go to school. Tim's classmate, Dick is very nice. He comes to help Tim with his homework with his deskmate, Mary.

    Mr. Johnson had his weekend with his old grandfather -- Dr. Johnson yesterday. In the morning he got up at seven o'clock. He had his breakfast at half past eight. Then he went out in his yellow car and arrived at old Dr. Johnson's cabin at about 9. At noon Mr. Johnson had lunch with his grandfather. They played cards at half past two. Dr. Johnson was good at playing cards. He beat (打败) Mr. Johnson at last. So he laughed: "See? I am not too old to play with young people!"

    Last month, Darning and Simon went to watch a basketball game in America. They rode their bicycles to watch the game. They saw their favourite team. Their team played very well and they won. Darning and Simon ate hot dogs and drank colas for lunch. It was great.

    Now Darning is back to China with his friends. He bought his mum a book on America. It looks interesting. His mum is very happy.

    It's eight o'clock in the morning. I usually have a class at school, but today {#blank#}1{#/blank#}. My father often reads newspapers at this hour (小时), but today {#blank#}2{#/blank#}. My mother usually teaches at school, but today she's sitting in the car too.
