We have six lessons today. At 8:00 a. m. we have Chinese. At 8:50 a.m. we have Maths. At 10:00 a. m. we have Science. At 10:50 a.m. we have Music. From 11:30a.m. to 1:30 p.m. we have a lunch break. In the afternoon, we have English and Art.

    Lucy likes to go shopping very much. Today is Sunday. She wants to buy a beautiful skirt. Tomorrow( 明天 ) is her birthday. Lucy and her mother go to the clothes shop to buy a skirt. The shop is far from her home. They go to the shop by bus. There are many skirts in the shop. She doesn't like the yellow skirts. She likes the red skirts. Her favourite colour is red. Her mother buys a red skirt for her. They are hungry. They go to the supermarket to buy some hamburgers and juice. Today Lucy is happy.

    In the morning, I get up (起床) at 7：00. I have milk and bread for breakfast. Then I go to school. My favourite food is fish. In the afternoon, I have rice and chicken for lunch at school. I don't like vegetables but I like fruit. In the evening, I have noodles and meat for dinner. Then I read a book. At last (最后) , I say "Good night!" to my mum and dad.

    My Chinese teacher is Mr. Chen. He's young and friendly. My English teacher is Miss White. She's young and funny. My PE teacher is Mr. Smith. He's tall and strong. My science teacher is Mr. Zhao. He's old and kind.

    Every day, Mr. Smith sees a man near his home. The man has a pair of sunglasses (太阳镜) and sits on the ground. In front of the man, there is a hat with some money (钱) in it. Beside the man, there is a dog. Around the dog's neck, there is a board (牌子). It says "I'm blind". Mr. Smith gives the man some money every afternoon on his way home. One day, Mr. Smith walks by the man, but he does not give him any money.

    "Why don't you give me money today?" the man asks. Mr. Smith is very surprised (惊讶的).

    "Aren't you a blind man?" he asks.

    "No, I'm not. But my dog is blind (瞎的)." the man says.

    In December 2010, Mary got a surprising gift. A young man Ray came to visit her with a shirt. It was a shirt with a picture of Spiderman.

    Six years ago, Mary's son Tom was ill in hospital. Ray was in hospital, too. The two children liked to talk about Spiderman. But later, the two boys were in different hospitals. In November 2010, Ray saw the shirt with Spiderman on it in a shop and bought it. He wanted to give it to Tom.

    But Ray didn't know that Tom died two years ago. Ray cried when he heard it. But Mary thought his visit was a great gift for her.
