When someone has deeply hurt you, it can be very difficult to let go of your anger. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} forgiveness is possible-and it can be surprisingly beneficial to your physical and mental health. So far, research has shown that people who forgive can have more energy and {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(good) sleep.

    So when someone has hurt you, cool down first. Take a couple of {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(breath) and think of something that {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(give) you pleasure: a beautiful scene in nature, or someone you love. Don't wait for {#blank#}5{#/blank#} apology. “Many times the person who hurts you may never think of {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(apologize),” says Dr. Frederic Luskin, {#blank#}7{#/blank#} wrote the book Forgive for Good. “They may have wanted to hurt you or they just don't see things the same way. So if you wait for people {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(say) sorry, you could be waiting a very long time.” Next keep in mind that forgiveness does not {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(necessary) mean accepting the action of the person who upsets you. Instead, learn to look for the love,{#blank#}10{#/blank#}(beautiful) and kindness around you. Finally, try to see things from the other person's position. You may realize that he or she was acting out of carelessness.

    There is a tradition in my school that when the College Entrance Examination is less than a month away, students in the {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(low) grades, from Senior 1 to Senior 2, all gather together on the ground in front of the teaching building and cheer on the Senior 3 students who are standing upstairs. It wasn't until I {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(person) took part in the activity that I understood the real{#blank#}3{#/blank#}(mean) of it.

    On our way to the house, it was raining {#blank#}1{#/blank#} hard that we couldn't help wondering how long it would take {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(get) there. It was in the middle of Pearl City.

They also shared with us many {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(tradition) stories about Hawaii that were {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(huge) popular with tourists. On the last day of our week-long stay, we {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(invite) to attend a private concert on a beautiful farm on the North Shore under the stars, {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(listen) to musicians and meeting interesting locals.

    The annual Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival is Harbin's main tourist highlight. It is the world's biggest winter festival. The {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(bitter) cold winters are just right for this festival.

    {#blank#}2{#/blank#}sets the Harbin festival apart is the scale and size of the sculptures and the{#blank#}3{#/blank#}(beauty) lighting. It is bigger than {#blank#}4{#/blank#} ones in Sapporo, Norway, and Quebec.

    At first, mainly Chinese{#blank#}5{#/blank#}(participate), but in the last decade, it has become an international festival and {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(compete). As the festival grows in international participation, and as China's economy grows, the size of the snow sculptures and ice architecture exhibits keeps {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(grow) The work going into making these exhibits is astounding, and their size and beauty is amazing.

    The lightning {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(effect)on the huge ice sculptures in the Ice and Snow World are technologically complex.

    Officially the festival {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(hold) from the end of December through February. Opening dates keep changing, and ending dates partly depends {#blank#}10{#/blank#} the weather.

    The Sun Island Scenic Area will be opened from Dec. 21 to Feb. 28.
