    In October last year, I was studying at a school in Cambridge but it was only my second months in the school. At an end of the month the head teacher organized a party for all the new students. It is a good chance to get to know my new classmates and I really looked forward to join in it. As the party was on 31^st October, I thought it was a Halloween party. So, the day after the party, I searched everywhere and managed get a witch's costume. When I arrived at my head teacher's house, he opened the door and looked at us if I had been complete mad.

    Research shows most students often communicate with their parents, and there are still some who think it embarrassed to share their ideas with them. Besides, share your personal problems and emotions will great help you reduce your pressure and build up your confidence. As for my family, we had a special dinner together every Saturday evening.     I'm a senior student and I'm now in the need of your help although I can't stand the great pressure. Every day I have to have lesson at school for nine hours and spend at least three to four hours doing my homework at home. Our teenagers are eager to play and enjoy ourselves, but we hardly have any time to do that we want. Beside, we don't even have enough sleepy. There seem to have three cases about the overload: the pressure of examinations, too many homework and high expectations from the parents. We often warned that if we don't do our best we won't have the chance to go to university. The pressure often makes me awake at night.

    Last week, I take part in the Cultural Exchange Week. I enjoyed myself in England. I visited the city museum and several place of interest, which made me have better understanding of the English society, culture and history.

    What's more, I was lucky enough to meeting my pen friend Tom there. I stayed at his home. And I'll never forget the days when we spent together. When I left England, he offered to me a dictionary as a gift. It's of great help with me to learn English. I will make full use of them and learn English good.

    Yesterday I think of a friend who had been ill recent. So I sent her a text message to comfort for her. In the evening, her mother, strict teacher, called me. My first thought was that she was going to give me a hard time for send her daughter the text message. With my surprise, her mother thanked me for that I had done. She said her daughter was in low spirit because of her illness and that my text message had cheered his daughter up. It was at that moment that I realized the important of a simple text message.
