    "If you hear thunder, you are in danger of lightning," said Rocky Lopes, a disaster educator at the American Red Cross. "The most important thing is to seek a {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (hide) place. If you are near wide, open places, move indoors as {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (quick) as possible and stay there until after the storm has ended."

    Once there lived a rich man {#blank#}1{#/blank#} wanted to do something for the people of his town. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} first he wanted to find out whether they deserved his help.

    I was always told that the three Ps, patience, positive thinking and perseverance（毅力），were a sure path {#blank#}1{#/blank#} success. But this advice does not always work as planned. My high school math exam is one example. The exam, {#blank#}2{#/blank#} was originally to be held in our classroom, {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (change) to the library at the last minute.     English is now the first language of about 400 million people, the mother language of 12 countries and the official language of one-fifth of the land area of the world, {#blank#}1{#/blank#} means one {#blank#}2{#/blank#} every seven people in the world speaks English.
