Anna Mary，known as Grandma Moses，grew up on a farm. As a child，she loved drawing. But she hardly（几乎不） did it because she had to do busy farm work. Grandma Moses spent all her life on the farm. When she was old and found farm work difficult，she started to paint at the age of 78. 

An art lover found Grandma Moses's paintings in a shop in 1938. He bought them，and the next day he went to her farm and bought all her paintings. Soon Grandma Moses became famous. In 1940，at the age of 80，she had her first painting show in New York. "Do your favorite thing，and you will finally be successful（成功的），"she once said. 

Grandma Moses died in 1961，at the age of 101. She painted over 1600 paintings in the late part of her life. Many people loved the bright colors and beautiful farm views in her works. After knowing Grandma Moses's life story，they felt relaxed about their future（未来） because becoming old didn't mean anything. Also，they thought confidently about their future. They finally knew that age wouldn't be a problem for those who wanted to make a change（改变）. 

For thousands of years, tea is loved by many people around the world. It has finally received top-level global recognition as a shared cultural treasure of our humans. On November 29, 2022, traditional tea processing techniques and their related social customs in China were added to UNESCO's Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity（联合国教科文组织人类非物质文化遗产名录）. Following "Wangchuan Ceremony（送王船）" in 2020,this project is the 43rd one to be successfully added to the list and there are 44 sub-projects in total belonging to this main project.

Chinese tea culture began as early as over 5,000 years ago. It's said the ruler Shen Nong was the first to discover tea as a drink by accident. But during the Three-Kingdom Period, people paid more attention to its medical value. In the Tang Dynasty, tea-tasting became an important part for poets' life. Bai Juyi wrote 64 poems about tea in his lifetime.

 According to UNESCO, in China traditional tea processing techniques are closely connected to location and natural environment. The area of tea planting in China is about between 18°-37°N and 94°-122°E. Tea-related customs are not only found across the country, but also influenced the rest of the world through the ancient Silk Road. In western countries, tea firstly became popular in Britain in the 17th century, and then the whole of Europe. When it came to the late 18th and 19th centuries, 10% of a British person's income（money made from work） at the time was spent on tea, making it one of the most important expensive goods.

Developed by US company OpenAI, ChatGPT has taken the internet by storm, winning 100 million users since it came out in January， 2023.  People can ask the robot to write storics and e-mails， create recipes（食谱），translate languages, and answer all kinds of questions. In its own words, it is "a language model trained in a large amount of Internet text to help users get human-like text. "

Compared with Siri or other chatbots（聊天机器人），ChatGPT úses a much bigger database（数据库）for training. It also uses stronger software and hardware to learn things by itself. For example, if it provides a wrong answer to your question, you can tell it the right one and it will make corrections. 

OpenAI has now introduced a powerful new language model: GPT-4. On March 14, 2023, GPT-4 showed the world how smarter it is than GPT-3. 5. One of its best new features is that it can understand pictures. 

But GPT-4＇s developments don＇t stop there.  The new language model can code（用代码编写）classic games in a matter of minutes ，  and it can also change the tone（语气） and style based on what you ask it to do. GPT-4 is much better than the older GPT at passing tests. Some students use it in exams, which is not allowed. This may worry teachers. According to CNN, GPT-4 did reallywell on a law school test, with a score in the top 10 percent of test takers. But GPT-3. 5 only got a score in the bottom 10 percent. 

A marathon is a long running race of 42.195kilometres. The first Olympic Marathon was held     in Athens. Now, many cities host their own marathons every year. Some of the well-known marathons around the world are the New York City Marathon, the Boston Marathon and the Tokyo Marathon. Among them. the Boston Marathon is the oldest yearly Marathon in the world. As time goes by, the sport has become more than just a race.

 Themes(主 题 ) make marathons fun and meaning. Runners run for helping sick kids, memorizing important events, or just enjoying nature. A famous marathon in Gisborne, New Zealand, is known for being the first city in the world to welcome the sunlight every day. Runners can greet the sunrise as they run along the golden sandy beaches.

 Marathon routes(线路) let people know more about this old sport. Some routes are very challenging for runners. Runners of all skill levels can sweat(流汗) freely and push their limits(极限). Some routes are well planned for runners to explore the many sides of a city. For example, the route of the Great Wall Marathon takes the runners along the great wonder of the world. In fact, it's also a chance to get to know Beijing, its people and local culture.

A marathon is quite a journey for runners to enjoy the run, challenge themselves and experience     the culture. There is so much more behind the race for us to explore.
