Do you know Liu Xiuxiang? This name might be strange to you but you must have heard about the story of him. He was born in March, 1988. His father died of illness when Liu Xiuxiang was four. He had to support the whole family. Life was difficult, but be went on studying hard. Finally he got into the university. Because his mom wasn't able to look after herself, he "carried" his sick mom to his university while studied in Shandong in 2008.

After he graduated from university in 2012, Liu refused many highly paid job and went back to his hometown, Guizhou Province. There he has been working as a teacher for 9 years. He said, "I hope to do something for more children whose lives are similar to mine."

In fact, Liu supported three poor children when he was in high school. Till now, he has helped more than 1,700 students and given more than 1,000 speeches in his spare time.

Liu's story has warmed many people. And he also received many honors(荣誉，成就), such as the Star of Self-improvement of Chinese College Students, the May 1st Labour Medal in Guizhou Province, the May 4th Medal of Chinese Youth, the National excellent teacher and so on.

As the song sings "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger." There is no doubt that he will give more hope to more children in the future.

Students from a high school in Changchun, Jilin, spent 129 days creating a relief mural (浮雕壁画). Their idea came from the famous painting A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains(千里江山图)by Wang Ximeng.The mural was created on the wall of Changchun No.15 High School's art classroom.

It was completed by 21 students from this school under the guidance of their teacher, Duan Yingzi. The mural is nearly 3.5 meters high and 11 meters long. This piece of artwork has amazed a lot of people on the Internet. According to the teacher, creating this mural is part of the school's special lessons. The process of the creation includes drawing an outline (轮廓), making relief, painting base colors, and then finishing the final artwork. Most of the students in this group had no painting experience. Their teacher helped them learn the painting skills and practise painting many times.

The teacher explained that the most difficult part of creating this mural was the color mixing. "It took us over a month to finish the outline and relief work. In the following two to three months, we focused on perfecting the color mixing." she said. After trying again and again, they finally achieved this great goal.

"Although there is a difference in color compared with that of Wang Ximeng's painting, the students are still very pleased with the final result." she said.The difference is not so significant(显著的). The work still looks very beautiful.

"In the past, students could only see the artwork in books. And they were unable to fully experience its beauty.By drawing the painting, students can have a deeper understanding of the ancient Chinese artists' wisdom(智慧)."Duan said.

When the host announced that my choir(合唱队) won the second place of the World Choir Game,I couldn't believe what I heard. All the1 that we made was worthwhile(值得的). Through this unforgotten experience,I 2 much.

 In the semi-finals(半决赛), we were supposed to sing 3 songs. When we played the third song, I suddenly heard an unexpected 4 —a girl in the alto(女低音) got quick. The other students in the alt o were 5 by the girl and were getting quicker and quicker. Our choir's leader, Mrs. Li noticed it and 6 used her hand to keep time, but she7 .

 After the song, the smile on Mrs. Li's face froze and some of our members turned and tried to find the person who first got 8 . My mind was blank (空白的), but quickly I realized the only. thing we could do was to9 the performance. Then with a smile, Mrs. Li became a conductor again, who seemed to have completely forgot10 we had done. We sang the last song as usual.

 After the competition I was11 . Just because of one person's fault(过错), the whole choir must afford the fact that we might lose the game. I cried, but then I found nothing would change no matter how hard 12 blame(谴责) the girl who played poorly. Therefore, I came to her, encouraged her, and practiced the whole melody with her. In the finals, we got the medal because of our13 performance.

 Never blame a person when she makes a mistake, but help her to14 the problem when you are struggling(奋斗) towards the same goal. No matter what you will experience with others in the future, successes or failures,15 or tears, these will surely become your treasure and memory.
