Hello, everyone! I'm very glad to share myfavourite Chinese traditional festival with you all.

National Meatball Day, one of the greatest food holidays in America, falls on March 9th. It is not clear how this day got started. 

According to a cookbook by Cajsa Warg in 1754, meatballs in Sweden were served with a cream-based gravy. People had them mainly on holidays. Then meatballs were brought to the Midwest of America by millions of Swedish immigrants (移民). 

No one knows for sure where the first meatball came from. However, there are many times in history that meatballs have been recorded in cooking records. In China, there is a record of a recipe (食) that can date back to 221 BC! 

Some countries have found creative ways for preparing meatballs. In Afghanistan, meatballs are grilled (烧烤) and placed on top of pizza. Meatballs in Greece are fried while Indonesian meatballs are served in a bowl, with noodles, tofu and eggs. Polish meatballs are huge, about the size of large oranges, and include rice. 

The world's largest meatball was made in South Carolina in November of 2017. I was 1757pounds and Guinness World Records was there to make it official. Finally, most of the meatball was given to local programs to feed the homeless people.
