Disneynature's new true life adventure film “Born in China” takes a journey into the wilds of China {#blank#}1{#/blank#} few people have ever gone. Following the stories of three animal families, the film transports audiences to some of {#blank#}2{#/blank#}  most extreme environments on Earth to witness some deeply moving {#blank#}3{#/blank#}  (moment). A caring panda mother guides her growing baby as she begins to explore and seek {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (independent) actively. A two-year-old golden monkey who feels unhappy with his new baby sister {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (run) away from home to join up with a group of free-spirited monkeys. And a mother snow leopard (雪豹)—an animal {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (rare) caught on camera—faces the real challenge of raising her two babies. Featuring {#blank#}7{#/blank#}  (astonish), never-before-seen images, the film guides audiences through China—from the icy mountains {#blank#}8{#/blank#}  the heart of the bamboo forest—on the wings of red-crowned cranes (丹顶鹤), smoothly tying the extraordinary tales together.

    “Born in China”,{#blank#}9{#/blank#} (direct) by accomplished Chinese filmmaker Lu Chuan, is a co-production of Disneynature and Shanghai Media Group. Disneynature is partnering with World Wildlife Fund and donating a percentage of ticket sales {#blank#}10{#/blank#}  (help) protect pandas and snow leopards in China.

    Nowadays, there are a lot of reminding days in the world. World Read Aloud Day is celebrated each year on the first Wednesday of March. It{#blank#}1{#/blank#}(start) by the LitWorld.org website in 2010 and has now reached 65 countries.{#blank#}2{#/blank#}aim is to encourage people worldwide who cannot read to enjoy the benefits of a book. The website asks everyone{#blank#}3{#/blank#}(celebrate) the day by taking a book, finding an audience and reading out aloud. It is about taking action to show the world that the right to read and write{#blank#}4{#/blank#}(belong) to all people. The website asks visitors to join in the movement to reduce the number of illiterate(不识字的) people in the world. It is{#blank#}5{#/blank#}(absolute) necessary to help those{#blank#}6{#/blank#}cannot read. The website says, “It's time to start by reading aloud to{#blank#}7{#/blank#}might like it. Share a book with a child who might need it, share a story with someone who would treasure it, listen patiently{#blank#}8{#/blank#}someone else's story as they share with you.” The United Nations says, ”Literacy involves a{#blank#}9{#/blank#}(vary) of learning in{#blank#}10{#/blank#}(enable) individuals to achieve their goals, to develop their knowledge and to participate fully in society.” In that way, World Read Aloud Day does help make a difference.

    Many people agree that going to a museum is a good way of learning about ancient treasures. However, others may find {#blank#}1{#/blank#} boring to spend hours there. Therefore, how to make museums and their lifeless collections more appealing is a tough question worth {#blank#}2{#/blank#}（attach）importance to.

    Luckily, National Treasure（国家宝藏）, a TV program which{#blank#}3{#/blank#}（begin）to air on Dec, 3, 2017, shed light on ways to inspire interest in museums and their collections.

    Aiming to make ancient relics to come {#blank#}4{#/blank#}（live）, the program presents treasures through different artistic{#blank#}5{#/blank#}.（method）including dramatic performances and storytelling, {#blank#}6{#/blank#} fully interprets the history behind each cultural relic, so that audiences can not only understand how to appreciate the beauty of cultural relics, {#blank#}7{#/blank#} also know the civilization and the spiritual core of Chinese culture. In fact, such programs that promote traditional ancient relics have become popular {#blank#}8{#/blank#} recent years. For example, a 2016 documentary featuring the Forbidden City's cultural relics and their restorers, urged lots of college students {#blank#}9{#/blank#}（apply）to work as volunteers there. It is {#blank#}10{#/blank#}（universal）accepted that National Treasure has been successful in encouraging more people to visit museums by touching their hearts.

    Babies are great and lots of fun. We all love babies and we need babies, too. Many countries don't have enough of them. That's a big problem.

    Most babies grow up to become workers. As the number of workers {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (grow), a country can produce more things. That often means people's lives become easier and more {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (comfort). But without enough babies, a country {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (gradual) gets old. Many countries provide services {#blank#}4{#/blank#} their people like health care. These services {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (pay) for by young working people. But they are mostly used by old people {#blank#}6{#/blank#} aren't working any more. Without enough young people, countries can't afford these things.

    Countries are dealing with {#blank#}7{#/blank#} problems in different ways. Many countries are encouraging people {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (have) more babies. Since raising children is expensive, some countries give families extra money. Some other countries change rules {#blank#}9{#/blank#} it is easier for mothers to study and work. Others are welcoming immigrants (移民) from other{#blank#}10{#/blank#} (place). How do you think this problem should be solved?

    A phenomenon known as "in-need-of-praise" has taken Chinese social media by storm. Users can now join a chat group on WeChat or QQ, where they will{#blank#}1{#/blank#}(praise) and gain encouragement from others — for a price. The "in-need-of-praise" chat groups are a reflection of Chinese culture{#blank#}2{#/blank#}values modesty and humility (谦逊), leading many people to often cover their true emotions. In Chinese culture,{#blank#}3{#/blank#}(open) seeking and giving praise is uncommon. The trend seemed to have started with a chat group on the platform Douban four years ago. Since March many other chat groups{#blank#}4{#/blank#}(become) popular, especially among young people. For them, gaining recognition from peers is more important than getting approval from older generations. They can feel{#blank#}5{#/blank#}sense of belonging and gain praise in these chat groups, which is{#blank#}6{#/blank#}(benefit) to their mental health. It's also an outlet for users to show{#blank#}7{#/blank#}(kind) and support each other. Life pressure can be big enough, so we need to be surrounded by warm {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (word), or even some blind confidence. But anyone{#blank#}9{#/blank#}(receive) or giving praise in such groups should be cautious. The biggest risk is the constant focus on the "false self," which makes {#blank#}10{#/blank#}harder to see the "true self".
