Bill is a poor （穷的） shoemaker and Carl is a rich （富的） business-man. They live in the same building. Bill lives on the 1st floor and- Carl lives on the 2^nd floor.

Bill likes singing very much. He always sings loudly and happily when making shoes. Carl doesn't like singing, so he is angry and says, "Bill, I'll give you a bag of gold （黄金） every day if you stop singing.

"Well, good." says the shoemaker.

Bill stops singing and gets a bag of gold every day. He becomes very rich. But he feels unhappy and gets ill.

One day, Bill comes to Carl's home with all his gold. He says to Carl, "Take your gold back （拿回去）. I can't stop singing. It is my life."

From then on, when Bill makes shoes, he sings loudly and happily again.

There are lots of people in a park. Some girls are rowing a boat. Amy is eating a banana. Mr Smart is running. Daming is taking pictures. Lingling is riding a bike. Grandma is reading a book. Three boys are playing football. Two boys are playing basketball. They are very happy!

Betty and Alice are good friends. They are both 11 years old. 1 their birthdays are in different months. Betty's birthday is in August. Alice's birthday is in October. They study in 2 schools. Betty studies in Happy School. Alice studies in Red Star School. They both go to school 3 bike. They both like playing sport. They often play basketball 4 school Then they go home together. They are both good at 5 . Betty wants to be a lifeguard. And Alice wants to be a teacher. I hope their dreams can come true(成为现实).

Art is my favourite subject(科目) because I like our art teacher, Mr Jones. He has short hair and often wears black glasses. He is a young and active(积极的) teacher. Most of the students like him because he is like a big brother to them. He often plays football after class with us. And he has classes in a very easy and attractive(吸引人的) way. When I grow up(长大), I want to be an art teacher like Mr Jones and I will do my best to be loved by my students.
