There are five people in my family. My g {#blank#}1{#/blank#}is from Canada. He is really clever. He is a s{#blank#}2{#/blank#}  .My father is 45 years old. He wears g{#blank#}3{#/blank#}. He is a businessman. He is strict and works hard. My mother is from China. She is a doctor. She likes reading books. She is quiet and f{#blank#}4{#/blank#} .My brother is tall and strong. He is a student. He likes going h{#blank#}5{#/blank#} .

When to come?

If you can avoid(避免)the busy months----July and August, your visit will becheaper.

There will be smaller numbers of visitors. British weather is pleasant from April to the end of September. Ofcourse,you can visit it in winter, but it is often dark by 4 p.m. Many places, such as large houses and castles(城堡),are closed early in winter. However, if you want to visitmuseums,or theaters,winter may be a good time to visit.

Be prepared.

If you are a student, it's a good idea to have an International Student Id Card(国际学生身份证).With this card, you can save a lot of money. You can get the card from your local student traveloffice,and you can also call(44)-08708-41324 to get it. To get the card, you need to show that you are a student, get a passport photo, and pay a little money.

Today is sunny. I go to the {#blank#}1{#/blank#} {#blank#}2{#/blank#} to buy a postcard with my friend, Robin. It's {#blank#}3{#/blank#} the door. I want to send the postcard. So, I go to the {#blank#}4{#/blank#} {#blank#}5{#/blank#}Where is it? It's {#blank#}6{#/blank#} {#blank#}7{#/blank#}the museum. I see a {#blank#}8{#/blank#}robot like Robin. {#blank#}9{#/blank#} a great museum!

My uncle Peter is a farmer. He has a small garden. He plants things in spring, autumn and winter. After that he does very little work. He sits in the garden with his small radio（收音机）. And everything grows very well. People ask, "How does Peter grow these wonderful things? He only waters the plants sometimes. He just sits under an orange tree with his radio and listens to music all day."

My uncle likes music, but what about the garden? Who does the work? I will tell you the true（真实的）thing: the music. All plants love music, and my uncle knows that. 

How time flies! Ann is a girl in Grade Six now. She has changed a lot in these six years. When she was in Grade One, she ate little. So she was short and thin. She was very shy. And she was afraid to talk to her teachers and classmates. She liked dancing very much. But she couldn't write well. Her parents were worried about that. They tried their best to help her. Day by day, Ann has grown up. Now Ann is quite different. She always  feels  hungry  after  school, so  she  eats  a  lot. She  is  tall  and  pretty. She  is active(活跃的) and she has many friends. She often helps her friends when they are in trouble. They all like her. She doesn't dance for a long time because she is very busy now. She has writing and maths lessons every weekend. She is good at writing now.

She can write interesting stories. Her parents are happy for her changes.
