He uses his stage name, Rain, when he works as a singer and dancer. His real name is JungJi-hoon and he is also a f{#blank#}1{#/blank#} actor.

    He showed his interest in dancing ever since he was in the 6th grade. As a teenager, he was part of the boy band (乐队) group c{#blank#}2{#/blank#} "fan club". Years later, Park Jin-young (Korean singer) took Rain under his wing and trained him for years in dancing and singing. During those training years Rain was not at home much and didn't have enough money, so at times he had to train w{#blank#}3{#/blank#} meals.

    Finally in 2002 the song Bad Guy made him famous. Following the s{#blank#}4{#/blank#} of the first album (专辑), he came back with a new set of music in his 2nd album. In 2004, he acted in a successful play called Full House which was welcomed in other Asian countries such as the Philippines, Indonesia, China, Malaysia, Thailand and Japan. His performance in Full House has won him the Best Actor Award at the KBS Acting Awards. It is hard to describe his dancing with simple words b{#blank#}5{#/blank#} it is a mixture of so many different elements. He has created a whole new style of his own. Born in 1983, Gu had the dream of being a car inventor at a young age, but his family is poor. To realize his dream, Gu had to start his first job right after junior high. However, he got hurt badly by accident while working in 2017, which made him give up the job. After that, he began raising pigs to make a living. With the money he made, he created all kinds of amazing "cars" with used materials like waste steel (钢) and engines (发动机).

Our family went to the Yellow Stone National Park last summer vacation. Our son, Tom, wanted to see bears there. And what an experience it was!

When we got there, we put up our tent and went to explore（探险）. As we returned, we heard our daughter Susie cry out. And then we saw a bear go into our camp. 

Tom wanted his father to chase（追赶）him away. 

His father said, "No. It's dangerous to chase a bear. And don't let him chase you."

Susie said, "What shall we do? Maybe we should climb a tree."

Tom said, "No. We have to get him out of there. He might go to sleep in our tent."

"Maybe we could make him leave if we put some honey outside for him to eat." Susie suggested. 

Then I said, "How are you going to get the honey? It's in the tent."

We watched the bear go into the tent and heard him upset（翻倒）everything inside. 

"It's foolish for us to try to chase him away." said my husband, "Leave him alone and wait for him to come out."

We waited, but the bear stayed inside. We had to sleep in the car that night.

I stood by the window, looking at the gray sky and snowy ground. A woman crossed the street, with a thick scarf, looking cold and unhappy.

The morning was ideal for reading, so I turned on the light and lay in bed with a book. The phone rang, and I heard my mum agree to something, mentioning my name. Curious, I wondered what was happening.

Mum entered and told me Uncle Sam was taking me to Sparrow Hills. Unwilling to leave on such a cold day, I hesitated(犹豫) but didn't want to disappoint Mum, so I put on my blue sweater. The doorbell rang, and Uncle Sam asked if I was ready.

"I suppose," I replied, grabbing a warm wool hat. We headed to the station, catching the train to Sparrow Hills. The train was warm, and my body started to relax.

" Can we just stay on the train?" I said as the train stopped. Uncle Sam softly pulled me up and said," You will miss all the fun."

Outside, the wind was blowing strongly. The trees were shining and they s wung in the wind.

"I don't know how long I can stay out here," I said as we started to walk uphill. He pulled me closer to the trees and said," Listen!"

At first, I heard only the wind. Then came a jingling and chiming(叮叮当当)." That's the music in winter," my uncle said. I pulled my hat up to free my ears. The branches(树枝) sounded like hundreds of bells ringing, jingling and chiming. I was surprised and I stood still, looking at the icy branches hitting each other and leaves swinging in the wind. Then we climbed to the top of Sparrow Hills and looked down. The snow- covered trees made buildings appear brighter. Then the sun broke through the clouds.

" The sun is shining!" I shouted. Uncle Sam smiled and said," The sun is always shining. You just need to climb high enough to see it."
