Do you have trouble creating a big idea?
Scientists have found a connection between daydreaming and creative problem-solving. They had to think of as many ways as they could. Then, before solving the difficult problem again, they chose to do one of the following things: work out a difficult problem, work out an easy one, or take a 12-minute break.
Many students reported that they were daydreaming when doing the easy task. So the scientists believed that daydreaming might help them become more creative.
But how could daydreaming help the brain think creatively? Even when you are
not actively working on a problem, it is still in the back of your mind. Your brain is still thinking about it, but you are unaware of it.
Great ideas never come easily, but that does not mean you always have to work hard to get them. .
A. Surprisingly, the best group was the one that chose the easy problem. B. Just do what you want and let your mind feel free. C. Perhaps you can try daydreaming. D. Their study includes asking a group of students to solve a difficult problem. E. Have you ever created any big idea? F. The answer is something known as"unconscious thought"(无意识思维). |
