On a hot summer day, Holmes and Dr. Watson went on a camping trip. After a good meal and a bottle of wine, they lay down in a tent for the night and went to sleep. Some hours later, Holmes woke up and pushed his friend. "Watson, look! What can you see in the sky?" Watson answered, "I see millions and millions of stars." "What does that tell you?" asked Holmes. Watson thought for a while. "First, it tells me that we will have a beautiful clear day tomorrow. Second, it tells me that the time is about twelve o'clock. And..." "What else?" Holmes asked. "Well, it also reminds me that the world is so big and we are so small. What does that tell you?" Holmes said with a grin (咧着嘴笑) on his face, "You silly guy! It only tells me that someone has stolen our tent!"

I have got two friends. They're from different schools. jerry is a boy from the UK. His school is very big. The students sit around tables in class. Sometimes he joins clubs and makes some new friends from different classes. School starts at 9 o'clock and finishes at 3 o'clock. He often plays football with his classmates after school. Lingling is a Chinese girl. Her school is beautiful and new. There are some beautiful flowers and tall trees there. There is a big library in her school. She often reads books there. School starts at 8 o'clock and finishes at 4 o'clock. She plays the guitar with her friends at break time sometimes. It's very cool. 

I was on a train in Switzerland. The train came to a stop and a man said something, but I didn't know the language. Everyone started to get out of the train. An old woman saw me still sitting there. She could speak a little English and told me what the man said. She asked me where I was going. Then she talked with some other people, then came back, and told me that we had to take other trains to get there.

I was really lucky to meet the old woman. because I knew I couldn't take the right train by myself. Then we went from one train station to the next. The old woman was really kind. When we got to the last station, we left and said goodbye. Luckily, I got on my train to Rome in time. The old woman told me she also had to catch another train. I found that she needed to spend two hours going back home.

I was moved(感动) that day. An old woman spent so much time on trains just to help out a stranger.
