I'm Helen. I'm 12 and I'm in No. 1 Middle School. I have three keys, two English books, an eraser, five pencils and a Chinese dictionary. My classmate (同班同学) Linda borrowed (借走) two of the pencils from me. My things are in my schoolbag. Susan is my friend. She is 13 and she is in No. 3 Middle School. She has three English books, four pens and two dictionaries. They are not in her schoolbag. Where are they? They are everywhere in her room—on the bed, under the desk and on the chair.

People from Canada spend about 43. 5 hours online every week, 8 hours longer than Americans. Canada has long cold winters, so people spend lots of time at home. 

⊙Outdoors

People from New Zealand spend most of their free time outdoors. The countryside there is great for mountain climbing and water sports. 

⊙Bars

Spain has a lot of bars（酒馆）. In Spain, a bar is for families, not just drinkers. It's a meeting place and often an eating place. When none of your family or friends are free, you can still go to a bar by yourself. People around you in the bar may ask you to join them. 

⊙Museums

The UK has six of the top 20 most visited museums in the world, such as the National Gallery, the British Museum and Tate Modern. 

⊙Parties

As for parties, most people will think of Brazil. Its carnival（狂欢节） is famous all around the world. Bangkok and Berlin are two of the best cities for partying. In Bangkok, you can meet friendly people and visit great night clubs. In Berlin, you can enjoy beautiful music on the streets.

In Greece and Estonia, over 80 percent of people exercise every day. The Olympic sports are very popular in these two countries, but Estonia has a very special game: ice cricket（冰上板球）!

Stamp collecting is becoming a big hobby for young people to remember their trips. Lovers of this hobby enjoy collecting stamps about the places they visit. They usually buy stamps in the local post office. 

 Jenny, a 25- year- old teacher, enjoys collecting stamps. For her, this is a great way to record (记示) her trips. Once during a two- day trip to Beijing, she collected over 90 stamps! They're all about beautiful artworks. 

 Ben, a 12- year- old teenager from Beijing, said collecting stamps helped him learn about the culture and history of a place. He likes to buy different kinds of stamps while travelling. For example, when he went to Xi'an, he bought a special stamp. It has a picture of an old Chinese stone bridge on it. "The stamp looks very marvellous. It makes me more interested in Chinese culture, " he said. Then he started to look for more stamps with interesting pictures. Ben also shares them with his friends. It encourages them to visit more places. 

"These days, more and more tourists share their stamps online. Stamp collecting is a good way to help people know more about the local culture. It's really educational, " said Gina, a teacher from a school of Tourism Management in Dongguan. 

Most students wear school uniforms when they go to class every day. In England, students have to wear a school uniform.

What do English students usually wear? Each school has a different uniform: the school can choose its own uniform. Usually, girls have to wear a blouse, a jumper and a jacket, a skirt, tights(连裤袜) and flat shoes(平底鞋). Boys must wear a shirt, a jumper, a jacket, trousers, socks and flat shoes.

How much is the school uniform? The school uniform mustn't cost too much so that all parents can buy it. Children from poor families wear the same clothes as children from rich families. The usual cost of a uniform is about €183.

What are the rules of wearing school uniforms? All students from Year I to Year 11 must wear a uniform and can be punished(惩罚) if they don't follow the rules. Only Year 12 and Year13 students don't have to wear uniforms: they can wear their own clothes.
