People were surprised to see a group of Yangtze finless porpoises (江豚) swimming in the Yangtze River on March 23, 2022. They jumped, hunted and played. The Yangtze finless porpoises has been listed "endangered" since 2013. In 2020, the government put a10-year fishing ban (禁令) in place. Now the government's environmental protection action is working. 

Ocean Is Singing

Ecuador (厄瓜多尔) takes action to protect the ocean. It provides along "underwater highway" which allows animals to travel in protected waters. And a new reserve (保护区) has been set up. It will be divided into two parts. No fishing will be allowed in one of the parts. Some fishing will be allowed in the other part. But "long line" fishing will not be allowed. 

The Coldest Post Office Is Hiring (招聘)

Four people will be chosen to work at the world's coldest post office — "Penguin Post Office". It is in Antarctica (南极洲) . Although the four people each have their own roles, they offer service together to the tourists who come by boat. They should also monitor (监控) wildlife, including counting penguins and environmental data (数据) collection.

Educational session(时段) prices

You can plan a self- led visit or book one of our educational sessions. Students will take part in the educational sessions in groups of 15. Prices are different according to different situations.  

●45minute session:£35/ group  

●90- minute session:£70/ group  

●Half day( one session):£ 80/ group  

●Full day( two sessions):£ 160/ group

Timings

The Kew Gardens opens at 10 am. Your visit may take three to five hours. The closing time changes throughout the year. But the earliest is 3:30 pm. We have a fixed schedule for educational sessions, which is from 10:30 am to 2:20 pm.

Ain Dubai is the world's largest and highest Ferris wheel. It opened to the public on Oct. 21st, 2021. This huge wheel is 250 metres high and about twice as high as the famous London Eye. It can carry 1,750 people and runs both day and night. People can eat, drink and enjoy the sunset as they ride.

The London Eye is on the bank of the Thames River in London, the UK. It has 32 pods(舱). Each can hold about 25 visitors. It takes about 30 minutes to make a round. Visitors can fly up in the sky for a bird's-eye view of the city. The London Eye is also called the Millennium(千禧年)Wheel because it was built to celebrate the new millennium. It opened in 2000.

The Tianjin Eye is on the Yongle Bridge, over the Haihe River in Tianjin. It is the only Ferris wheel built on a bridge. This one is 110 metres in diameter(直径)and about 120 metres high. It has 48 see-through   cabins(舱), each able to carry eight people. It takes 20—40 minutes to go around once. You can ride it to   overlook Tianjin.
