Sandy is a taxi driver in London.She tells us about her work and some of her experiences.

 1 did you start？

I've been a taxi driver for about five years.Before that，I was a bus driver in London，and I enjoyed it，but I wanted to be more independent，so 2 and started driving my taxi.

Have you ever had any famous passengers？

Oh yes. I've had film stars, politicians, you know, some famous people. About a year ago, a really famous actor got into my taxi. I took him to the airport. There was 3 traffic and we spent a long time getting there, so he missed his plane. It wasn't my fault but when he got out of the taxi, he said some things that were not very 4 to me! I said to him,  "Next time，take a bus!"

Have passengers ever 5 anything in your taxi？

Oh yes, all kinds of things in here, a suitcase, a hat, mobile phones of course, even a dog once! Years ago, a woman forgot a pair of shoes on the back seat. And one time some teeth here! Not real teeth of course, false teeth. And people have asked me to do some strange jobs. Once a doctor stopped me outside a hospital and asked me to take a skeleton （骨架） to the hospital in the countryside. And I did.But I asked the doctor to pay 6 the skeleton couldn't pay after all.

What's the worst part of your job？

Good question. I've always enjoyed being a taxi driver.But of course，sometimes，it's not great.I don't like driving around without a passenger, but it's better than just

 7 passengers at the airport or at a railway station.

 Old Tree says," That's easy. Your shadow gets longer because you are getting{#blank#}5{#/blank#} and growing taller every day."

One，two，three．．．nineteen，twenty yuan． I put {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(they/them)in my piggy bank. There are eight {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(pencil/pencils) in the shop. I ask,"How {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(many/much) is each pencil?" The man answers,"It's two yuan."I pay {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(ten/sixteen) for an eraser yuan for eight and two yuan . I put two yuan {#blank#}5{#/blank#}（back／to） in my piggy bank. I spend eighteen yuan and save two yuan today.

Hello! I'm Mike. Look at my birthday gift. It's a big and nice schoolbag. It is blue. What's in my schoolbag? Take a look. A pencil case and some books are in the schoolbag. The pencil case is black. Two rulers, five pencils and a rubber are in the pencil case. I have a long ruler and a short ruler. The short one is for my friend Tom.

It is a sunny day today. Tom cleans his home with his family. Look! Tom's father is cleaning his white car. His mother is sweeping the floor in the living room. What about his brother John? Oh, he is putting away his storybooks. What can Tom do? He can clean the desks and chairs. Their house is very clean now. Tom's family love it very much.
