Once a king got two nice falcons(猎鹰)from his son. He had never seen such beautiful falcons before. He loved them so much and he ordered the best falconer to train them to fly.

   After several months, the king came to see how the training was going on. He found that one falcon had already been able to fly high in the sky, while the other was staying on the branch(树枝) of a tree quietly, just keeping still.

   The king called all his falcons together and ordered them to try every way they could to make the other falcon fly. But none of them succeeded. One day, while the king was taking a walk in the forest, an idea came to his mind. Maybe someone who knew the natural environment well could solve this problem. He spent for a farmer who lived in the forest into his palace to train it at once.

   The next morning, the king saw the other falcon flying above in the sky freely. “ it is unbelievable !” shouted the king. How could you make it happen?”

   The farmer replied,“It's very easy. I just cut off the branch where the falcon rested.”

 It is always the same to human beings. We all have “two flying wings” in our hearts as well, but we often seem not to notice them and stay where we just for safety and comfort. We won't realize we can fly so high and freely until the “branch” we are resting on breaks.

Hansel and Gretel

Gretel heard their stepmother planning to kill her and her brother. But Hansel had a plan to {#blank#}1{#/blank#} himself and his sister. He went to get some white stones before he went to bed that night. The next day, the husband sent the children to the {#blank#}2{#/blank#}. Hansel {#blank#}3{#/blank#} the stones as they walked. Later that night, they could see the stones because of the{#blank#}4{#/blank#}moonlight/moon. The stones showed them the way home. After getting home, their{#blank#}5{#/blank#} told them to go to the forest again when they {#blank#}6{#/blank#} up. Hansel wanted to get more stones, but she did not let him go out. The next morning, the husband sent the children to the forest. Hansel had no stones, so he dropped {#blank#}7{#/blank#} of bread. But the birds ate them, so Hansel and Gretel were {#blank#}8{#/blank#} in the forest.  They walked {#blank#}9{#/blank#} they saw a house made of food. Hansel wanted to eat the house, but then they heard the {#blank#}10{#/blank#} of an old woman coming from the house.

My Plan for the Weekend

The English teacher came into the classroom with test papers in his hands. He said with a smile, "I know there are too many tests for you these days, but the test today is very1 .It is different from your other tests." The teacher started to hand out the test papers to each student.

There was only a small black " X " in the middle of the paper. The students were very 2 to see that.The teacher noticed the students' surprise.Then he said, "I want you to 3 what you see there. You must finish it by yoursclves."

All the students 4 about it hard and then wrote down their answers quietly. The next day,   the teacher said, "You only paid attention to the black ' X  ' , but nobody wrote about the white paper."

The whole class listened 5 , because they worried that they might fail the exam.

Then the tcacher said, "Don't worry. I just want you to think about your 6 .The white paper is like your whole life and the black ' X  ' is just like the problems in your daily life."7 , the students understood what the test was about.

Life is a wonderful 8  , full of love and care. If you only care about the problems, you'll never 9 that they are much smaller than everything else life gives you. So it' s better to look on the bright side, 10 each moment, and find happiness in life.

I will never forget my trip to Bulgaria. I found everything interesting, like the restaurant I went to one day. After I finished my food there, a waiter politely asked if（是否）I enjoyed it. The food was delicious and the {#blank#}1{#/blank#} was great. So I showed that I {#blank#}2{#/blank#} loved it by（通过）nodding my head. 

Strangely, the waiter did not {#blank#}3{#/blank#}. It was like that he was not quite happy {#blank#}4{#/blank#} my answer. I did not know {#blank#}5{#/blank#} was wrong and felt very sad. A lady sitting next to {#blank#}6{#/blank#} said in English that in Bulgaria, nodding one's head means "no" and {#blank#}7{#/blank#} one's head means "yes". This is {#blank#}8{#/blank#} from my country. 

I thanked the kind lady {#blank#}9{#/blank#} called the waiter over. I {#blank#}10{#/blank#} to my p late and shook my head. This time, the waiter smiled. 

We had an interesting English class yesterday afternoon. When Mrs Jackson came into our classroom, the {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(钟；铃) was ringing. She told us that our English teacher was {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(缺席的) and she would replace him. And then she said, "We will learn something about advertisements (广告). " Then she showed us some short videos. In the first video, a young businessman wearing a white shirt appears. After he puts on a nice {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(领带), he looks more handsome. In the second video, some students are having an exam. A student in the fourth {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(一排) uses a nice pen to write something. And then he not only {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(通过) the exam but also gets full marks. It's very interesting. 

In the last video, some people are swimming in a {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(游泳池). Suddenly, a watch falls into the water. When someone {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(捡起) it up, it still works. It's amazing!

Then Mrs Jackson told us something about advertisements. Her voice was beautiful and all of us listened to her very {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(仔细地). Then she played a game with us. We really enjoyed the class. 

After class, most students {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(赞同) that Mrs Jackson was a friendly English teacher. And she was among the best teachers of {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(我们的). We all hope to take her classes again.
