There was a photographer (摄影师) who often took group photos of hundreds of people. But there was a 1 that always troubled him—people closed their eyes at the last moment. 

Before taking a picture, the photographer would say 2 , "I'll shout ‘one, two, three'. When I shout ‘three', do not close your 3 !" But at the moment of taking the photo, there was always 4 closing his or her eyes. The photographer was a little angry with these people. 

One day, he heard a man who could move mountains. He 5 to visit him. The man was sleeping on one side of a mountain. The photographer asked him 6 to move a mountain. The man just got up and ran to the other side. He said, "The only way to move a mountain is: 7 the mountain does not come, I will go there."

After seeing this, the photographer 8 an idea. When the group photo was taken again, he did the same as before. But this time, he pressed the shutter (快门) as "two" was called. Everyone opened their eyes together. The 9 was really successful. 

So when we face all kinds of problems, we can change our thoughts, too. Whether in life or study, it is 10 for us to go all the way easily, so when we come to problems, we might change our thinking as well. 

Visiting a Spring Bud School

Last week, we had an unforgettable experience when we visited a Spring Bud School and organized activities for the children there. 

What do you think of your father? Maybe we have 1 ideas. As for me, my father always 2 me and stands by my side. He is the "VIP (very important person)" in my life. Now I want to 3 some stories between us.

When I was a kid, my father was often 4 . I spent a lot of time 5 my grandmother. At that time I could really be called a naughty (顽皮的) girl and often couldn't control (控制) 6 . I didn't know 7 my father couldn't stay at home and play with me like other children's fathers.

As time went by, I studied in a boarding (寄宿) school. One day I told my father 8 the phone that I missed my mother's 9 very much. To my surprise, when I was preparing to go to bed, one of my roommates told me that 10 was calling me. I ran out and saw that my father was there, outside of the gate of the dormitory, with a 11 box in his hand. I went 12 to him and he gave me that lunch box. He was tired by the long trip. Without 13 anything, he went away. Back to the dormitory I couldn't help 14 .

I just want to tell you that the 15 from your father may come in its own way and I really love my father.

In the eighth grade, I had a good friend, Peter. He was an excellent sports star. 1 I never seemed to be any good at sports. But when Peter joined a team, I did, too. Or at least I2 .

 Peter was in the JV field hockey team. He was talented, so he learned the basic skills 3 on the other hand, couldn't seem to hold the stick comfortably. Then Peter spent more and more 4 with the other boys like him and I was beginning to feel lonely.

 Deciding to 5 our friendship; I asked my mom to buy me my own hockey stick so I could practise at home. Peter looked at my 6 , and I could tell that he was thinking it was a waste of money.

I was 7 by his reaction(反应), and felt sad. I thought I simply had to be good at this sport 18 I   was going to keep Peter as a friend. So I practised and practised. I often felt like there was no 9 , but I kept at it. Just during that dark time, Steve became my new partner.

 Then, one day,l10 happened. That day, when Steve sent me his first throw, I caught 11 . Then I caught his next throw, and the next. The stick was actually feeling 12 in my hands.

I still don't know what happened that day, but I will always be 13 tor it. By the end of the season, I was   chosen to 14 for the JV team. I scored 12 goals that year. My success on the field gave me the confidence and the true 15 that I really needed. And Steve turned out to be a great friend.

I'm Tony. I'm an English boy, but now I'm in Wuhan. My parents came to Wuhan for work. So I came here with them. 

I like Chinese very much. It's my favourite subject, so I always ask my Chinese classmates for help. And I help them with their English. In my free time, I like watching TV and practising Chinese from it. After eight months, I can speak Chinese very well. 

I'm good at science, too. I think it's very interesting and useful. But I'm not good at maths. I don't know much about maths. Maths lessons are not easy for me. I want to thank my Chinese classmates. They always help me with it. 

At weekends, I like to play with my Chinese classmates. I know many things about China from them. And I made many Chinese friends. We always have a good time!
