Mary was ill yesterday. She went to see a doctor.

    "Doctor, I'm not feeling 1 at the moment," she said. "Every time I do my homework at night, I feel 2. If I walk to school, I have to sit down and 3  for ten minutes."

    The doctor looked 4 Mary carefully. At last he said, "5 serious, but I'm afraid you are 6 too much."

    "I don't understand. What do you mean?" asked Mary. "I mean you eat too much 7 ,"said the doctor.

    "Oh! You mean I'm too 8. That's a problem," said Mary. "What should I do if I don't want to be heavy?"

    "The answer is easy," said the doctor. "If you want to be thinner and healthier, you 9 eat a lot of food and you also should take more 10."

Last week,Li Xiang,a 15-year-old student, went to see a doctor. There was{#blank#}1{#/blank#}wrong with his arms and fingers.The doctor told him that he had "mobile phone disease (疾病)"

Now more and more teenagers ( 青少年) are getting "mobile phone disease" because{#blank#}2{#/blank#}using mobile phones.Li Xiang got his mobile phone six{#blank#}3{#/blank#}ago.He loved his mobile phone and {#blank#}4{#/blank#}messages to his friends with it all the time,even when was in bed.Li Xiang started to do{#blank#}5{#/blank#}in exams because he spent too much time playing mobile phone games.His mom felt very{#blank#}6{#/blank#}about him.However,he didn't stop playing with the mobile phone{#blank#}7{#/blank#}his arms were uncomfortable.

Yang ling, a doctor, says that if someone plays on his mobile phone{#blank#}8{#/blank#}much,like Li Xiang,he will get "mobile phone disease".If teenagers find that their arms or fingers{#blank#}9{#/blank#},they should go to see a doctor as soon as possible.Yang says teenagers should try to use{#blank#}10{#/blank#}mobile phones less,especially at school.

A pack rat① named Poncho had a big storeroom for all his things. Every day, Poncho went outside. He came back with leaves for lunch, seeds for supper and other things to f{#blank#}1{#/blank#} his storeroom. 

One day, as Poncho was walking, he saw a shiny golden spoon. He picked up the spoon and took it home. 

"Oh no," said Poncho, looking around his storeroom. "There's no s{#blank#}2{#/blank#} for my spoon. I'll have to move things around to find a place for it." But he failed. 

"I'll sort my things into two piles," Poncho said to himself. "I'll make a pile of things I want to s{#blank#}3{#/blank#} and a pile of things to throw away." When Poncho finished sorting, he didn't have two piles. He had one pile. He wanted everything. He was sad because his plan had not worked. 

Then an idea came to Poncho's mind. "I know how I'll make room for my spoon! My birthday is coming soon. I can have an amazing party."

Poncho made an i{#blank#}4{#/blank#}.

Come to my special birthday. I'll have a giving-away party. Don't bring me a present. I'll give each of you one instead. After the party, you can take anything e{#blank#}5{#/blank#} the shiny golden spoon outside my door. 

Poncho's friends all came to his party on the birthday. They ate birthday berries and sang the birthday song. Then Poncho said, "It's time for my dear friends to pick presents."

The party turned w{#blank#}6{#/blank#}. The guests shouted happily, chose what they like and showed appreciation to Poncho. And he waved goodbye to all his friends. 

"Now I will bring in my shiny spoon," Poncho said happily. He went out and took the spoon inside. He stood in the center of the storeroom and looked around, "Tomorrow I will go out and get a few m{#blank#}7{#/blank#} things. After all, why have a storeroom if you don't store things in it?"

Stampedes(踩踏), earthquakes and fires are the main accidents at school.

A stampede always happens in crowded places. When students around you begin to push, just stand there and try to hold something. If you fall down in the crowd, move to one side and protect your head with your hands around.

When earthquake happen, you can get under a desk quickly and hold on. It will protect you from falling things. If you are outdoors, find a place away from buildings, trees and power lines.

When there's a fire, leave the classroom quickly. It's better to put something wet over your mouth and nose. In this way, you won't breath in smoke. Many people die in the fire, not because of the fire but smoke. It makes them cough and they can't breathe. That's very dangerous! So when you want to get out, you should make yourself close to the floor. Then you can breathe some fresh air.
