    Then we take a bus to the zoo. After we5there, we see so many animals. Some6eat bamboo (竹子). They are so cute. Tom7a picture of them. Jenny's favorite animals are monkeys (猴子). She wants to see them first.8those monkeys are in the trees. They don't come9, so Jenny can't see them. She doesn't know what to do. Peter is very10.He asks Jenny to give (给) these monkeys some bananas. Then all the monkeys come to them. All of us are happy to have the class in the zoo.

You may know about "junk food" like French fries. But do you know about "junk sleep"? Recently, a British survey shows that there are many electronic products in teenagers' bedrooms. They are influencing teenagers' sleep in a {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(严重的) way.

The survey was done {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(在……之中) 1,000 British kids from 12 to 16. It found that 50% of them got just 4 to 7 hours' sleep every day. But doctors say they need 8 to 9 hours. Almost 25% of the kids said they often fell asleep while they were {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(看) TV, listening to music or using other electronic products.

"This is very worrying," said Dr. Chris, a British professor, "We{#blank#}4{#/blank#}(把……叫做) it ‘junk sleep'. It means you don't get {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(充足的) sleep and the quality of the sleep is low, too. If you don't get a good {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(休息), you can't listen to the teachers carefully in class the next day."

The survey found that quite a few of the kids felt {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(疲倦的) each day, especially girls between 13 and 16 feeling the worst. Junk sleep is the most important {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(原因). Nearly all the teenagers have a phone, MP5 or TV in their bedrooms. And lots of them even have all the three.

Dr. Chris suggested that {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(父母) should help their children keep away from electronic products, and teenagers should spend {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(更少的) time on the electronic products.

" It's time for Field Day again," thought Chloe as she started the last week of school. Chloe was not looking forward to it." Why does everybody think it a big day?" Chloe asked her 1 ." Well, it should be a fun day and a day to 2 ," said Chloe's mom." I'm not good at any of those games that are played, and I'm afraid the kids are going to 3 me. Maybe I can stay at home and 4 Field Day," said Chloe.

Mary felt bad and she told her mom how unexcited Chloe was and 8 what she could do to cheer her friend up." Maybe you can get in a game that you know Chloe is good at," Mary's mom 9 . Mary thought for a moment and said that she knew Chloe was really good at the game horseshoes. She was also good at the water balloon toss too.

Field Day finally arrived. Mary came by Chloe's house for10 daily walk to school Chloe was very 11 on the way to school. Mary noticed that and said," I hear they are going to have horseshoes this year and also a water balloon game."" Really? I 12 horseshoes, and I am pretty good at catching those water balloons without breaking them." said Chloe.13 , Chloe got excited about going to school and starting Field Day.

The games began, and Chloe had the 14 Field Day ever! Thanks to Mary, Chloe's team won the first place in the water balloon toss and she got a ribbon (绶带) for the second place in horseshoes." What a great day!" Chloe said to Mary. With Mary's15 , Chloe is now looking forward to Field Day next year!

 My love of inventing began when I was a kid. It wasn't until I 1 about Thomas Edison that I really became excited about it. 

 When I was in fourth grade, our teacher gave us a2 . We had to write to a company and learn about the products it made. Each student would then give a report in front of the class. I 3 the Thomas A. Edison Company. 

 Soon after I wrote to the company, our postman 4 a package to me. It had a book about the life of Thomas Edison. How I 5 reading and rereading about his inventions! The ones that6 me most were movies, recorded sound, and the electric light. Edison became my hero. 

 My dad noticed my interest in inventing and 7 me. He showed me how to turn my ideas into plans and, finally, into new things. 

 Together, my dad and I repaired radios and televisions. Once, I made a 8 to fix the brakes(刹车片) of our car. This surprised my dad so much. The next Sunday, we saw a similar tool. That's9 I learnt that inventors often invent similar things. It is not 10 for this to happen. I also learnt that not all great ideas work.11 is a common part of the inventing.
