A researcher has made a report {#blank#}1{#/blank#} says having a lot of money makes you a bad person. Professor Paul Piff spent ten years {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (look) at the personalities of rich people and {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (find) that their behaviour was very different {#blank#}4{#/blank#} the behavior of poor people. Rich people are more likely to break {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (rule), not follow the law, and not care about other people. Wealthy people cheat more at games and are less likely to help other people. Professor Piff told the BBC, “Wealth makes you more {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (worry) about your own interests, your own desires, your own welfare.” He added that rich people think their own goals and needs are the most {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (importance) thing in their life.

    Professor Piff also found that poor people are more generous than rich people. The poor give a higher percentage of their money {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (help) others than the rich. The {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (wealth) you are, the less generous you are. You give significantly smaller portions away to other people. However, he said that rich people could change their behavior and become nicer {#blank#}10{#/blank#} more generous.

    In the past black people in South Africa {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(live) a miserable life. They could not vote to choose their {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(leader). They could not get jobs they wanted. The parts of town in which they had to live {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (decide) by white people. They lived in the {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(poor) areas in the country and could not get jobs they wanted. Nelson Mandela, a modern hero, called black people {#blank#}5{#/blank#} fight against white people to make black and white people equal. He said “We were put in a position {#blank#}6{#/blank#}we had either to accept we were less important,{#blank#}7{#/blank#} fight the Government. We chose to attack the law.     The story happened in ancient times. A king was so clever that he thought of a good way to test {#blank#}1{#/blank#} his men were reliable.

    One day, he had a huge rock{#blank#}2{#/blank#}(place) on a roadway at night. Then he hid {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (him) nearby and watched carefully to see if anyone would remove the big rock.     Then a villager came along carrying a load of vegetables.
