The world's best sportsmen get together for the Olympic Games every four years. The 2024 Olympic Games will take place in Paris, France. For the first time, people will watch breaking (霹雳舞) as a new event at the Olympics.

Breaking is also called break dancing. The high-energy, skillful dance includes moves such as Top Rock, Footwork, Go Down, Freeze and so on. The dancers need to think and show the moves of the hands and feet quickly.

Break dance battles (斗舞) are a common way to find out who is the best dancer. In the 1970s in New York City, fighting with others among young people became more and more serious. Some of them began to deal with the problem through dance instead. Just then, the dance style first showed up on the streets. Today people still "battle" in this way. One dancer will show off his moves, and then the next will continue to compete... The best dancer will be picked out finally.

The research team is now looking to develop a consumer stage where people will be able to send their own chocolate designs for 3D printing. They will also be able to browse through the designs of other users, but can't c{#blank#}5{#/blank#} them without permission. Dr. Liang added, "Eventually we can may see many mass-produced products being r{#blank#}6{#/blank#} by unique designs created by customers. "

This is an imaginative application of two developing technologies as well as a good example of how creative research can be applied to create new products and sales-ideas. 

He also said, "By combining developments in engineering with the commercial potential of the digital economy, we can have a look at the future of new markets—creating new jobs and, in this case, sweet business opportunities.

Have you ever seen bronzeware(青铜器)? It can be thousands of years old. A middle chool in Shanxi held a bronzeware show named Daxzling Memories.  ▲ . They were made by students!

Junior high school students from Taiyuan Middle School made more than 130 pieces of " bronzeware". The materials(材料) included recycled hard paper boxes. They cut the paper boxes into shapes and then covered them with bronze- coloured paint or clay. These "bronzeware" artworks looked so real that student visitors felt like they went back in history. 

Li Danyu from Grade 7 made a set of chimes(编钟). He once watched a chime music show in Xi'an. The sound of this ancient musical instrument was so beautiful that he fell in love with it. For this reason, he decided to make one by himself. He said that the hardest part was to add the patterns(模型). He used paper to fold some special patterns, such as xiangyun and dragons, and glued them to the chimes. 

Yang Zixing, in Grade 7, is crazy about Chinese ancient weapons(武器), so he made a halberd(戟). He tried hard to colour the halberd. He made the main body green, gold and blue and added some black to the side of the halberd to make it look real. 

In this show, students not only showed their talents for art but also had a chance to enjoy the art and culture of ancient China. 

How do you spend your free time? Playing sports or seeing movies? Do you want to live a different after-school life? How about mixing into elements of intangible cultural heritage (非物质文化遗产元素)?Here are four examples.

Li Chenxi, an 11-year-old girl, is at the No 2 Primary School in Yinchuan. Her school brings traditional Chinese culture into the after-school care services. Li is interested in tie-dye(扎染). She can make dolls and dresses after learning for more than a year. "In the past, I had too much homework to do. But now I can do what I want to do in my free time.I enjoy it."she said.

When Antoine, an international student from Rwanda(卢旺达), first watched the dragon dance,he was surprised and could not wait to join in it. However, the training was not easy. He kept practicing the basic skills day by day to perfectly do the jumps and turns and lift the dragon body high in the air. In 2015, Antoine built the first international student dragon dance team in his school. Now the team has about 100 students from different countries.

It is on Saturday afternoon. A group of children of all ages are following Zhu Wei in Zimbabwe（津巴布韦).Zhu, a traditional Chinese medicine doctor and the captain of the Chinese medical team in Zimbabwe, teaches them tai chi(太极).These children like tai chi. In their opinions, tai chi helps them keep healthy and focus on studies. It's mind-body exercise.

Chloe from Canada is a paper-cutting lover. Every Sunday, she learns paper-cutting from Mrs Smith. The girl can easily cut butterflies,horses,flowers and so on. Last weekend, Chloe made a paper-cutting work of Bing Dwen Dwen. She felt excited to see it shown on the school wall.
