Firecrackers ( 爆 竹 ), known as Baozhu in Chinese have been used for centuries in many celebrations. They are a(n) {#blank#}1{#/blank#} part of Chinese folk culture.
Firecrackers{#blank#}2{#/blank#} a long period of improvement. In ancient China, firecrackers were made from bamboo. That's because the bamboo bangs (爆炸) {#blank#}3{#/blank#} when it is burned. In the Tang Dynasty, an inventor called Li Tian was the first to{#blank#}4{#/blank#} bamboo with powder (火药) to make louder bangs.
