As space science develops, man has learned more and more about space. Space is not only amazing but also dangerous. While working in space, spacemen are facing dangers as well as interests. 

Scientists have found out that radiation（辐射）is the greatest danger to spacemen in space. When spacemen are working in space, they are in danger of radiation from the sun and other stars, which is bad for their health. The damage（危害）done by radiation won't be discovered until their children or even grandchildren are born. Some special medicine works a little, but no really helpful medicine has been produced. 

Space junk（垃圾）is also thought a great danger to spacemen. It's reported that there are 9,000 man-made things flying in space. About 30% of these are satellites, 10% are spaceships, and the rest is space junk. Scientists are watching and reporting any possible danger all the time. They are working on helpful ways to do with space junk. 

Although space is really dangerous, it interests everyone on the earth. In the near future, it may become usual for people to spend a few days in a space hotel. We may even choose to leave the earth or live in space in a few years. So we should care for space and do something to help improve the space environment. 

How can you do your homework well? Here is some advice for you. 

Don't try to work when you are hungry. If you decide to do your homework right after school, you may get something to eat first. Then you should always do your homework before you get too tired. Don't wait until very late in the evening, or your work will seem much harder than it really is. If you have more than an hour s work, give yourself a break after an hour. On the other hand, don't break so long that you can't finish your homework. You should be able to work more than half an hour at a time. 

Don't put off until the last minute. If you put off doing your homework, you will have it on your mind and you won t enjoy your free time so much. If you put it off until right before a test, you will have too much homework to do. And please do your homework at the same time every evening. This will help you make it a habit. It will make it easier to do, and you will enjoy your free time better. 

Making new friends can be difficult, especially if you are a child in a new neighborhood. It may seem like everyone else has a friend to sit with or to talk to. Don't worry:if you're a nice person, you can make friends, too. 

Step 1. Decide what kind of people you want to play with. Choose (选择) wisely, because you'll probably become like them. Pick children that are nice to other people. 

Step 2. Smile and say something nice to the person you want to be your friend. If you like a person's shoes or think a girl is good at basketball, just say so. Everyone likes compliments. 

Step 3. Join clubs and teams. If you like sports, try out for some. Put yourself in situations where you are around many children that enjoy the same activities as you. It's easier to develop (发展) friendships when you have the same hobbies. 

Step 4. Ask questions whenever it's appropriate(适当的). People love to talk about themselves. Be careful not to ask too personal questions or ask someone too many questions. But asking one or two questions shows you're interested in him or her. 

The saying that school years are golden years is true for me. I enjoyed them a lot. I shaped me as the person I am today. I owe my life's success to my school days. 

From the first day to the graduation day, my school days are still vivid(生动的) in my memory. Whenever a friend from school contacts me, I am taken back to those happy days of my life. 

My school days were a treasure box of valuable lessons and experiences. I made many good friends at my school. I experienced social skills first-hand. I was taught how to read, write and think critically(批判地). I learnt to play sports and exercise to keep healthy. 

My teachers and my classmates helped me. My teachers taught me much of what I know about life. They shared their experiences and guided me. They were my models of success which I was thirsty for. They helped me in discovering my life's path. They supported, and encouraged me a lot. My classmates were my true partners in all moments of life. They raised me up when I couldn't stand up; they cheered me up when I was down; and they helped me stay on track with class progress when I got sick. I could never have made it through my school days without our friendships. 

All these experiences made my school days golden in my life. I will never forget those happy days. 

Students from a high school in Changchun, Jilin, spent 129 days creating a relief mural (浮雕壁画). Their idea came from the famous painting A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains(千里江山图)by Wang Ximeng.The mural was created on the wall of Changchun No.15 High School's art classroom.

It was completed by 21 students from this school under the guidance of their teacher, Duan Yingzi. The mural is nearly 3.5 meters high and 11 meters long. This piece of artwork has amazed a lot of people on the Internet. According to the teacher, creating this mural is part of the school's special lessons. The process of the creation includes drawing an outline (轮廓), making relief, painting base colors, and then finishing the final artwork. Most of the students in this group had no painting experience. Their teacher helped them learn the painting skills and practise painting many times.

The teacher explained that the most difficult part of creating this mural was the color mixing. "It took us over a month to finish the outline and relief work. In the following two to three months, we focused on perfecting the color mixing." she said. After trying again and again, they finally achieved this great goal.

"Although there is a difference in color compared with that of Wang Ximeng's painting, the students are still very pleased with the final result." she said.The difference is not so significant(显著的). The work still looks very beautiful.

"In the past, students could only see the artwork in books. And they were unable to fully experience its beauty.By drawing the painting, students can have a deeper understanding of the ancient Chinese artists' wisdom(智慧)."Duan said.

A lot of animals travel from one place to another. We call this migration. 

In Africa, large animals, like elephants and zebras, migrate to find food and water. They usually follow the same ways every year. 

A lot of birds migrate to find food and better weather, too. They are usually birds that eat insects. They spend the summer in northern Europe, because there are lots of insects there. In the winter there aren't any insects, so the birds fly south to southern Europe and Africa. 

Some insects migrate, too. In North America, millions of monarch butterflies fly south to spend the winter in Mexico, California and Florida, where it's warmer. They travel 50-65 km each day and they travel about 1,125 km. 

Some fish migrate to breed (繁殖). Salmon (鲑鱼) can swim over 20,000 km in their life. They are born in rivers in Ireland, Scotland and other places in northern Europe. The young fish swim down the river to the sea and into the Atlantic Ocean. They live in the ocean until they are adults. Then they return to the river where they were born. They lay their eggs in the river and then they usually die. Salmon do this, because their eggs are safer in the river. Other fish can't eat them. 

Arctic terns (北极燕鸥) travel the furthest when they migrate. They spend the summer in the Arctic, but when winter comes they fly to the Antarctic, because it's summer there. The next year they fly back to the Arctic again. In one year these small birds travel 36, 000km from one end of the earth to the other and back again. Nobody knows how they do it.
