Imagine you are taking a walk on thebeautiful beach. Just then, your feet step over something and you hear a crack(噼啪声) —an emptyplastic bottle. Things like this are happening more often because of searubbish.

    Studies show that 80% of all the waste isfrom the land. The waste is mainly plastics (塑料制品)which are really hard to degrade (降解). So the rubbishwill remain there for a long time. Some of the pollution is causedaccidentally. For example, about 10,000 product-filled boxes are lost at seaevery year from business ships. Sometimes people just throw things into thewater from boats or land. Many large rubbish areas are formed in the NorthPacific Ocean.

    Thankfully, the situation isn't ignored (忽视). Groups like the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)are taking action to help clean the sea. Since 2006,76 projects have clearedout 3,814 metric tons (公吨) of rubbish from the sea.Methods of rubbish cleaning include using machines to remove (移除) the waste away from the surface of sea water. Besides, specialnets are set by the mouths of rivers to stop the rubbish before it reaches thesea. If everyone does his part, sea rubbish seems like a problem that can besolved.

①Almost everyone has a question or two about living in space. What is life really like in space? And what do astronauts do there?

②Astronauts living in space have the same hygiene needs as people do on Earth. They wash their hair, brush their teeth and go to the bathroom as well when they wake up. However, because of micro-gravity (微重力), astronauts take care of themselves in different ways. For example, they use a kind of special tool to wash their hair and use leg restraints (腿部固定装置) to set themselves when they use the washing room. 

③Astronauts eat three meals a day: breakfast, lunch and dinner. Some food can be eaten in the natural form, such as fruit. There are no fridges in space, so space food must be kept in a good way to avoid going bad. 

④Besides morning routine (常规) and eating in space, astronauts also need to do many tasks, such as checking the machines, updating (更新) computer information and so on. At the same time, the control center on Earth sends messages to the astronauts through voice or email to help them in their daily routines. 

⑤What's more, living in space is not just all work and no play. A popular way of relaxation is looking out of the window. And they can also enjoy themselves by watching movies, reading books, playing cards and talking to their families during their free time. 

Do you know what is hanfu? Hanfu, the traditional clothing of the Han Chinese, can date back to the early 17^th century. However, more and more young Chinese people are wearing hanfu now. 

Ran Dan is one of them. She is a huge fan of hanfu from Beijing. She noticed hanfu in 2011 when she saw some hanfu photos and she was surprised by its beauly. Soon she had her first set of hanfu. Now, she has more than 50. Some people only wear hanfu for special events, but others wear it every day: to work, to school, or even only to go shopping. Ran is the latter (后者). Once she wore hanfu in a clothing TV show. 

"Many people think hanfu is not convenient (方便的) in daily life. In fact, there are many kinds of hanfu. Loose-bodied hanfu may not be convenient when you go to toilet, but there are some kinds of hanfu which will not have an influence on our lives at all, "she said. 

It's said that the hanfu market has more than two million customers across China so far. There are more and more stores selling hanfu online. "Students are the largest group of customers in my store, "said Daoding, who runs an online hanfu store. 

Now many schools have hanfu clubs and they are popular with students. The schools want to provide young people with a good way to learn about Chinese culture. Usually, students are interested in the different kinds of activities having to do with ancient clothing, poem and calligraphy (书法). And they believe that hanfu can bring out the best in them because of its beauty. 

Because of the COVID -19, many zoos are having hard time. Luckily, there are new ways for them\ to raise money, such as having animal shows online, selling cultural products (文化产品), making animal stars and adopting animals online (云认养) .

For Nanjing Hongshan Forest Zoo, online adoption is one of the ways to get help to getthrough hard times. People from all over the world can pay to adopt their favourite animals. The zoo will use the money to buy food for its animals and pay for their medical care. If someone adopts animal, they can get a certificate(证书) and learn about the animal's daily life online. They can go to the zoo for free, have the chance to feed the animal and clean its living space.

Animals like elephants, golden monkeys, koalas and tigers are all on the adoptioa list. Each animal has its own introduction. You can see its photo and know about its age and living baits(生活习惯).

Adopting animals online makes people think about how a zoo works. Modern zoos are no longer places for visitors to see animals but places to teach people how to protect animals.
