Tom and Bob are pen pals. They come from different countries. Tom is from the USA and Bob is from Australia. They often talk on the {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(互联网).Now they are talking {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (在 线) about how to keep in good {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (健康). Tom thinks doing exercise is good for his health. He {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (尝试) many kinds of sports. Some of them are indoor. For example, he often does some yoga and weight training. Others are outdoor, like riding {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (自行车). He also tries paragliding, which makes him fly like a {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(鸟). Tom thinks good eating habits are important, too. Vegetables and fruit are his favorites. He never eats junk food {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(这样) as cola and ice-cream. He says, " {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(尽管) most kids love it, I think it's better to avoid it because it's bad for our health."Bob agrees with Tom. He often does sports and {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (几乎不) eats junk food. He also thinks people have to drink {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(足够) water to have a strong {#blank#}11{#/blank#} (身体). And too much {#blank#}12{#/blank#} (咖啡) is not healthy, either. Besides, reading books is good for people's {#blank#}13{#/blank#}(头脑).

Frank: Hi，Cindy! You were not at school yesterday. Were you ill?

Frank: Because I often exercise.

Frank: In the park. 

American students have colourful school days. They usually get up at 7：00 a．m. from Monday to Friday. After breakfast they go to school by yellow school bus. They get to school at about half past eight. Students have seven classes in junior high school, four in the morning and three in the afternoon. 

Their classes are English writing, maths, history, science, PE, music and art.

At noon, students have lunch at school. They usually have some chicken and vegetables. They don't have a short break. They go back to continue having classes after lunch until three o'clock. After school, they do sport, like playing basketball or football with their friends.

Then they go home.Students usually watch TV before dinner. They have dinner at six in the evening. After that, they do their homework in their rooms. Sometimes they talk with their parents.

On the weekend, students don't have to get up early in the morning. 

They may get up at 9 or 10 o'clock. On Saturdays, they often go shopping or go to their grandparents' homes. And on Sundays, they go to a museum with their parents in the morning and have a big lunch at noon.
