Sara is fourteen years old. She gets up at seven o'clock in the morning and has breakfast at seven thirty. Then she goes to school by bus. After the lessons she plays in the park with her friends and they like flying kites. Sara goes home at five o'clock in the afternoon. She has dinner with her mother and father. Her father likes cooking and he is good at it! Sara goes to bed at half past nine in the evening.

Welcome to my classroom! I'm Tom. This is my schoolbag. I always put it on the desk, but now it's under my chair. It's black and white. Black and white are my favorite colors. My pencil box and books are in it. What's in the pencil box? A ruler, two pencils, a pen and an eraser are in it. The ruler is white. It's new. It is my friend Lucy's ruler. She has two, and she lends(借) one to me. The pencils are nice. One is black, and the other is red. The red one isn't my pencil. It's Jim's. The black pen is mine. It writes very well. The eraser is white. I take these things to my school every day. 

Pinocchio had a fever. The Fairy took a glass of water with medicine and said lovingly to Pinocchio, "Drink this, and you'll be up and well. "

"I had five gold pieces to give to my Father, but on the way I met two robbers. They tied my neck with a rope and hung me to a tree. " said Pinocchio. 

"Where are the gold pieces now?" the Fairy asked. 

"I lost them, " answered Pinocchio. As he spoke, his nose became at least two inches longer. 

"And where did you lose them?"

"In the wood nearby. " At this second lie his nose grew a few more inches. 

"If you lost them in the nearby wood, " said the Fairy, "we'll look for them and find them. "

"Ah, now I remember, " replied Pinocchio, "I did not lose the gold pieces, but I swallowed them. "

At this third lie, his nose became longer than ever. The Fairy sat looking at him and laughing. 

"Why do you laugh?" Pinocchio asked her, worried now at the sight of his growing nose. 

"I am laughing at your lies. "

"How do you know I am lying?"
