There was great excitement at King's City this morning when a small dog rolled all the way down an escalator. Cuddles was a three-year-old dog belonging to Mrs Cindy, 48. He wasn't hurt, but his owner was shocked. Mrs Cindy said: We bought our tickets at the ticket office and then walked to the escalator. Cuddles and I were standing at the top of it, when I heard the announcer make his announcement: "The train now arriving at Platform 4 is the 9:52 to Queen's City." "Quick!" I said to Cuddles. "That's our train!" I ran, and slipped on a

bit of paper on the floor and dropped the dog. Cuddles rolled all the way down the escalator, landing in a rucksack at the bottom. Before I knew what was happening, I saw a man pick up the rucksack - with Cuddles inside - and walk onto the train. "Stop!" I shouted. 'That man's got my Cuddles!" Other passengers were also surprised.

 Mrs Cindy didn't think twice. She ran down the escalator as fast she could, jumped onto the train, found the passenger and managed to get her dog back. Cuddles was fine and the pair made their journey home.

Peter likes eating sweets very much, but his mother never gives him any. She thinks they're1 for his teeth. However (然而), Peter's uncle sometimes2 some sweets for him. Then his mother lets 3 eat them, because she wants to make her brother happy.

On Sunday evening, it is Peter's4 birthday. He says, "Dear God(上帝), I want5 packets of sweets."His mother says, "God can't 6 you. Don't shout."

"I know," says the clever boy with a smile. "But uncle is in the next room, and he can."

It＇s my birthday today. I get two birthday gifts（礼物）today Look. This toy car is from my grandparents. That schoolbag is from my parents. It's very big and beautiful.There is a lovely panda on it. It's so cute. It's brown. I like it.put my books, keys and toys in it. Oh. It's heavy now.

Snow White and Me

I have a little pet. It is a cat. It is small and white. I call it Snow White. It is one of my friends now.

Snow White is cute, and sometimes it is naughty. When it is three months old, it tears up the sofa with its claws, I am very angry. What should I do? I take a deep breath count toten and say sorry to my mum.

When it is seven months old, it eats too much and gets fat. It can't jump and run fast. I am afraid. Maybe it won't grow up, it should do more exercise. So we take it for a walk every day.

When it is one year old, we have a party for its birthday. It eats many kinds of food. But then it feels sick. I am very worried. I think it should see a vet.

It is near the Spring Festival now. Snow White is already one and a half years old. It is very cold. My mum thinks it should wear warm clothes. So we make a coat, some jeans and a hat. It is so funny. We are so happy. I love my pet Snow White.
