My summer holiday began on July 5th. I didn't want to stay at home and did nothing in the hot summer. I called my grandma, and she asked me to go to her village. I was very happy with it. After four hours, I got to my grandma's house by bus. There are many trees around her house. I liked to play games with other children during the day.     For a long time Pandora kept her promise, but at last she couldn't help herself. She opened the box a little. Hundreds of bad fairies flew out. They stung (蜇) Pandora and her friend. They cried.

    The bad fairies flew out of doors and stung all the children in the land. Then Pandora heard a voice crying, “Let me out, and I will help you.”

    She opened the box, and a beautiful fairy flew out. She told Pandora that her name was Hope. She kissed Pandora and her friend, and they felt well at once. Then she flew away to help the other children.

    Until now, when people are sick or unhappy, the little good fairy, Hope，comes to make them comfortable.

    An old farmer lived on a farm with his young grandson. Each morning Grandpa was up early to read. One day the grandson asked, "Grandpa! What good does reading do?"
