Hello, my name is Lily. My birthday and my mother's birthday are in July. My grandpa's birthday is in July, too. My grandpa is in America. He lives with my uncle, Bill. So I usually send him an e-card on his birthday. There are two birthdays in August, my father's and my cousin Tom's. My grandma's birthday is on Christmas Day. It is very cold. We often have a big party on that day.

Kevin White is an 8-year-old boy from Salt Lake City. He started school two years ago but he has1 been able to ride the school bus with the other kids. Because of a serious illness, he needs special care even on the way to school. His parents drive him to school each day.

When he heard that a service dog could allow him to ride the bus, he2 to get one at once. However, his family didn't have that much3 . So Kevin came up with an idea to raise money by selling vegetables.

After Kevin told his father what he4 , his father helped him grow vegetables in their yard. To let people know about Kevin's story, on September 26, Kevin's dad wrote an article online, telling people what happened to Kevin and what he wanted to do. The story touched many people's hearts and they wanted to lend Kevin a hand. In just a few weeks, Kevin's vegetables were5 . People even began giving their own vegetables to Kevin to sell.

With the help of others, Kevin has6 over 21,000 dollars in all. Kevin said he would use the money to buy a service dog and give the money left to other children in need.
