We had a really interesting class this morning. We talked about detectives. Detectives are a special type of police officer. Their job is to investigate serious crimes like murder. 

"My sister used to1 a detective,"said Mr Thomas. "Wow!" I said. "2 she enjoy the job?" "Yes, she did," said Mr Thomas, "but it3 easy." Then he told us all about his sister's job. She used to work at night and used to work long hours. She had to

4 clues. She had to interview suspects. She had to work really hard to solve the murders.

Later, Mr. Thomas told5 to make up a story about a detective from the past. He didn't want a real detective, we had to create one! We had to give our detective a name and tell about their daily life. I6 my detective Inspector Bach. Here's how I described him: Inspector Bach didn't have hair, but he had a beard and a mustache. There was a scar on the end of his nose, and he liked touching it. Inspector Bach used to solve crimes, especially murders. He did it in a different way—by listening to music."I7 get my best ideas then,"he said. Inspector Bach liked working alone because"I like to be quiet, it helps me think."It was a fun task!

I'm a goat. My name is Sunny. There is a concert today. The panda is playing the drums （鼓）. The dog is playing the violin （小提琴）. The elephant is playing the piano. The bear is playing the guitar （吉他）.And I'm playing the flute. Listen! The birds are singing. Look! The ducks are dancing. We are very happy. It's a lovely day.

I enjoy many kinds of sports, such as swimming, running, and dancing. However, I like playing basketball most. When I was much younger, I started it in school. I often played basketball with my classmates after school. It can help me keep energetic(精力充沛的). It can also teach me to know the importance of teamwork. Now, I always watch basketball games. The basketball games give much happiness to my life. So why not go and play basketball with your friends and classmates?
