Lily is a little girl at school. She is shy and many students do not know her. But she enjoys playing soccer. Her friends and classmates always laugh (笑) at Lily for her interest in soccer.     ★        , and she wants to become a great soccer player. 

Every day, after coming back from school, Lily quickly finishes her homework and goes out to practice soccer. Her mother understands Lily's love for the sport and always encourages her to go play. 

One day, the school says there will be a soccer game. Lily wants to give it a try. She takes part in the game and her classmates laughs at her once again. Lily does not give up. She tries her best to score goals (进球), one after another. 

The other students are surprised to see how well Lily plays. Their team does well with her help. They even win the game in the end. With her hard work. Lily proves (证明) herself to others. If you're strong and determined like her, you can make your dream come true one day. 

Are you a book lover? Every day can be a great time for some good reading. You can1 books at home, go to a public library, or even choose from a box called the Little Free Library.

 The Little Free Library is a fun activity you can 2 in. People build small wooden boxes in front of 3 houses. They put old books into them. Anyone can open the 4 and pick some books to read. You can take books away.5 in return(作为报答) you need to put some in.

 American Todd Bol built the first Little Free Library in 2009. It then quickly became6 around the world.

 The little boxes give people free(免费的) books to read and bring neighbors(邻居) closer. It is also great fun to 7 them with family and friends. You can be very creative(有创意的) to make your box 8 out. Brian Kemp is a US businessman. He and his 9 found an old television. They 10 months together making it into a little bookcase.

"I loved working on the library," he told Daily News Online." It was a project I did with my kids."

Hello! This is my family tree. Bob is my grandpa and Lily is my grandma. They have three children—a daughter and two sons. Their daughter is my mum Kate. She's 42. Uncle Sam is 39. He has a son. Uncle Jack is 36. He and Aunt Mary have a son and a daughter. They are Dove and Jane. I have a sister. She's 5. She's as old as (和..... 一样大) Uncle Jack's son.

The oil paper umbrella is a traditional Chinese handicraft(手工艺品). It has a history of over1, 000 years in China. In early Tang Dynasty, it was introduced to Japan and Korea, so it was called the "Tang Umbrella". Later oil paper umbrellas were spread to other Asian countries, such as Vietnam, Thailand and Laos. 

Yuhang in Hangzhou is famous for making oil paper umbrellas for more than 230 years. They are mainly made of skin paper, bamboo, and a coating of tung oil(桐油). It takes more than 70 steps to make them, including making bamboo ribs, pasting paper and painting patterns. It takes at least a week to make an umbrella. In 2008, these umbrellas were added to Intangible Cultural Heritage List(非物质文化遗产名录)of China

A young man called Liu Weixue learned the traditional art of making Yuhang oil paper umbrellas from his grandfather. He improved the umbrellas to win the heart of young people. As the traditional paper was easy to break, he started to use a different kind of paper. In a test, his umbrellas were opened and closed for 1, 000 times without breaking. He also used a different kind of bamboo to make the umbrellas weigh less. 

Now Liu hopes the art can be passed on, so he goes to local schools to teach students. He also takes part in lots of activities in different places to make the art be known to more people.
