It was our school's yearly dancing show. I  {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(be) excited that the teacher chose me this time although I didn't have any experience of dancing for a show. I would dance in front of all the students and  {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(teacher). It made me very proud(感到自豪的).

However, I was a bit sad  {#blank#}3{#/blank#}my father had no time to watch me dance. He had a business meeting that day. I knew that my father would surely come to my show if he could.  {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (lucky), my mother and my elder sister came to watch the show. {#blank#}5{#/blank#}the start of the day, I was very nervous. After putting on the dress and getting my make-up done, I felt much  {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(calm). Then I went on to the stage bravely. I was very glad to see my mother and sister sitting in  {#blank#}7{#/blank#}second row. Just before the lights turned dark, I saw my father rush into the hall and take the seat beside my mother.

 {#blank#}8{#/blank#}a pleasant surprise it was! The sight of my father made  {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(I) smile.

I began  {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(dance) confidently. I was so happy and lucky to have my family's support.

A few years ago, my husband and I were in a village for the weekend with our daughters. One day when we walked around the 1 and didn't know what to do next, our daughters told us 2 what they wanted to do. "We want to 3 the rose garden", said Lisa and Emma.

People are spending much money buying mystery boxes (盲盒) these days. Usually, there are toys in mystery boxes, but now shops are putting food in them. They are "leftover mystery boxes". 

They are more and more popular in China's cities, such as Beijing, Nanjing and Chengdu. The food inside is near its expiration date (保质期) and will be thrown away if no one buys it. 

Each box costs little money but has a lot of food inside. I buy leftover mystery boxes from an app called Too Good To Go. Each box costs about 3 to 5 pounds (27 to 45 yuan), and there are usually three to four things inside. For example, a box I buy from the coffee shop has three kinds of bread and one cake. The box costs 3 pounds but the original price (原价) is around 10 pounds. Every time I buy a mystery box, I feel happier thinking about how much money I can save. Wasting less food is also good for the environment. 

But the boxes also bring me problems. Because I can't choose what's in the box, sometimes I get the same kind of food. Also, the food may not be nutritious (有营养的) enough. I have to make other dishes, such as a salad, to make the meal healthier. 

How would you feel if you get hugs after dinning in a restaurant? Tim Harries gives free hugs 1 every customer at the end of each meal. The atmosphere at his restaurant "Tim's Place" is2 positive that customers call it "the 3 restaurant in the world". Tim' s Hug has4 interesting name on the menu called a "love" treat. The 5 man is probably the only Down syndrome sufferer (唐氏综合症) in the U. S. to own a restaurant. Also, he was chosen as Student of the Year6 he was in high school! So, when a man like Tim hugs you, it is sure7 a special and unforgettable experience. 

When Tim expressed 8 interest in opening a restaurant, his friend Keith who was a businessman supported him. Tim hired many people. Some served the guest, some kept the place clean, and9 did the cooking. Since Tim got to know10 people wanted to feel at home at a restaurant, the idea that his customers can11 the free hug has been carried out. Many customers have meals 12 at Tim' s Place. Since five years ago, Tim 13 out over 1900 hugs. he keeps counting by14 a special Hug Counter. Sometimes he may feel tired after a whole day' s work,15 he' ll never give up giving out free hugs.
