    Today we had the honor of invite Professor Hudson, a foreign teacher from Beijing University, to give us an English lesson. All of us were deeply impressing by this unforgettable English lesson. The professor began the class with an amusing English story, that attracted our attention at once. He spoke slowly and clearly so that we could follow her well. Great inspired, most of us took an active part in classroom activities. After class, many students being interviewed spoke highly of him. They said that never they experienced such interesting a class. From his lesson, we came to a conclusion what it is not so difficult to learn English but we find a good way.

    It was late when we left the restaurant. We have already crossed a long bridge when I discovered I had left my purse at the restaurant. It was nothing we could do but to turn around. There was no chance we could return to the restaurant before the closed time. Then we remembered a friend of us who lived six block from a restaurant. He listened to our story carefully but then he promised he would run over to the restaurant, that my purse had been left. Finally, we recovered the purse. Our friend sounded delightedly to have been a part of this little adventure. Beside finding the lost purse, I also had a sense of great happiness.

    Of all the teachers in my primary school, the one which impressed me most was Mrs. Huang. She was my 5th grade teacher. She was able to making learning fun and I liked her classes very much. Besides, she made me leader of many group project, which gave me confidence. That was with her help that I soon became top student in our class. Looked back on it, I'm very proud for having such an excellent teacher. The reason why I did so good was that she made me to feel confident. I am really grateful to her and I hoped one day I will become a teacher like her.

    I have happy family. My father and mother are old workers. They work on a big factory. They work very hard. They make a lot different machines for the farmers. Ladies and gentlemen,

    It's my honor to give a speech here. After-school activities play a important part in our school life. Proper activities help enrich our lives, broaden our horizons or develop our personalities. 

    Mine own experience can serve as a case in point. When I was in Senior One, I become a member of our drama club, that I used to visit on weekends. Since my participation in various activities organizing by the club, I achieved a lot. 

    These activities bring me a lot of funs, provide me with good opportunities to develop new friendships and open a window through which I have a brand-new outlook. With so much advantages shown above, why not to join us at once?
