It was reported that the population of the world reached (达到) about 8 billion on November 15th, 2023. From the report, it took the world's population 12 years to 1 from 7 to 8 billion. And it will take 2 about 15 years to reach 9 billion. It means our human family grows 3 . However, population increase also 4 lots of problems, such as the increase in water use. 

As we all know, water is quite35 to humans, plants and animals. 65% of our body is water. We can't survive (活下来)6 water. We can use water for drinking,7 and washing. We can also use it to make things like paper and clothes. With more and more people in the world, we use much more 8 than before. It's reported that water use is growing more than twice as 9 as the world's population. So people in many places have 10 drinking clean water. There is much water 11 in many areas, so people have to walk a long way to get clean water. Polluted water is12 and harmful. Every year many people die from polluted water. Most of these people are children. As students,13 can we save water at home?
