I had a summer camp with my classmates last year. 

Early in the morning, we gathered(集合) at the bus station. After saying goodbye to our parents, we got on the buses. It took us more than two hours to arrive at the campground. 

We got off the buses cheerfully. Laughing and shouting, we jumped and ran all over the place. It was the first time for us to be away from the parents. Some of us started to feel homesick(想家的). However, when the night party and dances began, the homesickness was gone. 

The next day, everyone rushed to the boating class, hoping to be at the head of the others. At first, my friends and I worked hard, but the boat wouldn't listen to us and kept going round and round. Then the teacher taught us how to work together. After many tries, we did much better, 

Swimming class was my favourite. It was about the hottest time of a day and the best time to stay in the cool water. The swimming teacher was a funny man, and during the class he often made us laugh happily. 

During the week I learnt a lot of new things and made many new friends. I also learnt how to take care of myself. 

Buzz, buzz… Summer is here. So are mosquitoes. Do you want to keep away from those awful insects? Iceland may be a perfect place for you. This country is free of mosquitoes.

Mosquitoes live in most parts of the world. Most of the mosquitoes come in summer and they. breed(交配繁殖) quickly on hot days. Mother mosquitoes lay their eggs in water or near it. If the weather is warm enough, the eggs can hatch (孵化)in three days. After hatching, the baby mosquitoes feed on small plants in water.

But the climate in Iceland is quite hard for mosquitoes to live in. Iceland is near the North Pole. The temperature there is low all year round. The weather in Iceland also changes very fast. The temperature can go up suddenly in winter and then go down quickly. Imagine a mosquito egg is waiting below the ice during the winter. One day, it gets warmer and the ice melts(融化). The egg hatches. But soon, the temperature goes down. Ice covers the water again. The poor little mosquito dies! The only mosquito in Iceland now is in a laboratory. It came from another country. In the 1980s, a scientist caught it in an airplane.

Besides having no mosquitoes, Iceland also has a lot of interesting facts:

★Iceland is home to about 130 volcanoes (火山). The country is called the "land of ice and fire".

★Iceland looks like the moon because of its volcanoes. In the 1960s, American astronauts did training there before they went to the moon.

★There are no subways or trains in Iceland.

Researchers have developed a printer that produces 3D personalized chocolate. The printer, which produces 3D chocolate by b{#blank#}1{#/blank#} up successive layer is thought to be an improvement in gift shopping. It has already received huge amounts of interest from shopkeepers. 

It is hoped that project will eventually see people designing and creating their own products across a wide range of gifts. The l{#blank#}2{#/blank#} researcher, Dr. Liang said, "What makes this technology special is that users will be able to design and make t{#blank#}3{#/blank#} own products. "In the long term it could be developed to help consumers. design many products from different m{#blank#}4{#/blank#}" From the shape of a child's favourite toy to a friends' face, the possibilities are endless and only limited by our ideas, " he said. 

The research team is now looking to develop a consumer stage where people will be able to send their own chocolate designs for 3D printing. They will also be able to browse through the designs of other users, but can't c{#blank#}5{#/blank#} them without permission. Dr. Liang added, "Eventually we can may see many mass-produced products being r{#blank#}6{#/blank#} by unique designs created by customers. "

This is an imaginative application of two developing technologies as well as a good example of how creative research can be applied to create new products and sales-ideas. 

He also said, "By combining developments in engineering with the commercial potential of the digital economy, we can have a look at the future of new markets—creating new jobs and, in this case, sweet business opportunities. 

 If I had a cold, I wouldn't think twice about telling my friends or my doctor. For some reason, however, if I had a mental(心理的) problem, I might not treat it in the same way.

 At my elementary school, mental health was not discussed even once as far as I can remember. This makes me wonder how many other schools are failing to educate their students on this. topic. It makes me sad that children growing up with mental illness may feel like it is something to be ashamed of (对……感到羞耻的) because it is never discussed. When I reached high school, mental health was still seldom discussed. But when it was in the topic of health or biology class,I was given a broad idea that mental illness was a" thing" that really lies.

 In my opinion, overstressed high school students could benefit (获益) greatly from more deep discussions about how to deal with mental health problems, such as how to know when you should care about yourself or a friend, or who to reach out for help. I know my friends and I could have benefited . Even if you personally have never faced mental health problems, someone you know is sure to have, and you can offer timely help.

I also believe we need to formal ize discussions about mental health at an early age, instead of hiding them from sight. At school, I saw a student's report on mental health education and how it can be carried out in the American school system. The student used the film Inside Out to explain feelings to younger kids. This report made me believe that it is possible to start these discussions at a young age if we try.

 Although we can't change the way people think about mental health over one night, there are still things we can do. Asking our friends how they' re feeling is a good start.

In many English homes people eat four meals a day: breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner. 

People have breakfast at any time from seven to nine in the morning. They eat porridge, eggs or bread. English people drink tea or coffee at breakfast. 

Lunch comes at one o'clock. Afternoon tea is from four to five in the afternoon. And dinner is about half past seven. First they have soup, and then they have meat or fish with vegetables. After that they eat some other things, like bananas, apples or oranges. But not all English people eat like that. Some of them have their dinner in the middle of the day. Their meals are breakfast, dinner, tea and supper and these meals are very simple（简单的）.
