In America, the school life is not easy for us students. There are so many rules we have to follow. When we start school, we get a rule book. There are always teachers looking out for people who are breaking the rules and prefects (长官) are everywhere too.

    The most rules are in the classroom and in the hallways. For example, you can't run or dance around in the hallways. We can't put our bags everywhere in the hallways.

    You can't eat or drink in the classroom or the hallways. Prefects watch you, They can give out duty slips (cleaning the dining hall for about 2 hours).

    If you make mistakes, you will get a detention. You may have to do some work for school. A detention is the most painful. You have to do a lot of tiring and boring things. There are rules for students out of school as well. Boys should not buy take away food in the street if they wear the school uniforms. The school also expects good behavior on public transport and in public places.

Teachers have always had to face the problem of students cheating, whether in a public school or a private school, whether among the low-achieving students or straight A students. {#blank#}1{#/blank#}

{#blank#}2{#/blank#} Students want their parents or grandparents to feel proud of them, or at least not to be disappointed in them. Another main reason is some students cheat simply because they're busy or lazy.

{#blank#}3{#/blank#} The cheaters get good grades without spending much time studying. Some people think cheating makes difficult things seem easy. Cheating is a way for them to win and get what they want now. They easily see the advantages in cheating, but often ignore(忽略) the dangers in playing by their own rules instead of society's.

{#blank#}4{#/blank#} And again. It can quickly become a habit that turns into a lifestyle. Without cheating, cheaters become afraid of failure. What's more, students who cheat may feel worried about getting caught. Whether they are caught or not,these kids may feel guilty or embarrassed(尴尬的).

{#blank#}5{#/blank#} It feels good at the moment but it has rather bad effects. The best way to teach our students is to put cheating out of their mind and help them experience the satisfaction that comes from knowledge as well as the self-confidence.
