Today more and more children wear glasses before going to middle school. They keep their eyes watching TV or playing computer games for a long time. Eyes are the windows of our hearts (心). We use our eyes to see everything around us, so we should know how to protect our eyes.

    Love our eyes. When we open (睁开) our eyes every day, we can see the lovely friends and parents, beautiful flowers and green trees. If our eyes don't work, how can we see the world. In our eyes, everything and everywhere is dark. It's like a house with no light (光). How important our eyes are!

    Relax our eyes. First, stop to relax 30 minutes when using the computer for an hour or two. Next, remember to do eye exercises every day. Then, looking at green trees also helps a lot. In these ways, our eyes will feel relaxed.

    Have good habits. When writing homework and reading, it is important to keep a distance (距离) of 30 cm between your eyes and books. Remember to use our eyes in a right way. Don't read in bed or on a moving bus. Eat something healthy for eyes, such as carrots, fish and eggs.

    Follow my advice (建议) and get good habits. It's time to say goodbye to thick (厚的) glasses.

Hiking (远足) can be a great way to relax, get away and enjoy the natural beauty around us. Going on a hike sounds like a walk in the park, but there are some risks when you head out into the wilds (偏远地区). We spoke with Sgt. John Adams from the Search and Rescue unit(搜救队) to learn what you can do to keep safe.

Tell someone where you're going

Especially if you're hiking alone, it is important to make sure someone knows exactly where you're going and when you expect to be back. And the information you left with a friend or family member will make it easier for the Search and Rescue unit to find you.

Do some research and check conditions before you go

The weather can be very different even an hour from where you live, and trail(路径) conditions can change daily.

Adams suggests you should think about bringing along a personal locator beacon (人员定位标) and a whistle(哨子). He said there are several successful Search and Rescue cases in which hikers were found alive and rescued when using locators.

Don't be afraid to turn back

If you are uncomfortable, uncertain or worried about your safety at any time, be honest with yourself. Don't be afraid to call it a day and turn back. 

If worse comes to worst

Stay calm, get to a safe place and stay there. If you're lost, walking around is likely to take farther away from the known trail and make you harder to find. If you're injured, trying to move around may lead to a worse situation. If you brought a whistle, use it to let the Search and Rescue unit hear you.

ChatGPT is now commonly used in different fields. Recently, however, many users have noticed that ChatGPT makes silly mistakes, {#blank#}1{#/blank#} result from the following flaws:  ChatGPT only predicts the next thing it could say without any causal model of how the world{#blank#}2{#/blank#}(actual) works. It has complicated syntax (计算) with no semantic(语义的) connection with reality, making it incapable of explaining why things happen. Unlike responsible human communicators, ChatGPT has no accuracy( 准 确 性 ) goals and can easily{#blank#}3{#/blank#}(trick) into producing vast amounts of misinformation.

ChatGPT is also lacking in ethical principles ( 道 德 原 则 ) about telling the  {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(true), avoiding harm to people, and treating people equally. ChatGPT does not disclose (透露) its sources. {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(evaluate) information requires examining the reliability and motives of its sources, but ChatGPT only gives statements. Shockingly, it sometimes makes up references.
