It is said that about half of the people in China smoke．Many young boys and girls have the habit of smoking，though they are middle school students．

    More and more people have come to realize how serious this problem is．But they are never bored with it．Some people think it is a kind of fashion，some think it is of great fun and others think that smoking can refresh(提神)themselves．

    (A)Smoking causes many illnesses ． A lot of people always cough(B)           smoking．The most serious illness caused by smoking is lung cancer(肺癌)．At the same time smoking is a waste of money．Besides，careless smokers may cause dangerous fire．

    (C)我们都知道吸烟对我们的健康有害。In order to keep healthy，we should get rid of the bad habit of smoking．Please stop smoking at once．

    There was a park near my home，but I didn't go there often．Many people said there was nothing special there．One afternoon I went into the park．I walked quickly because there wasn't much to see．{#blank#}1{#/blank#}“Which way should I go? ”I asked myself I looked at one path(小路)，then the other．I found that the two paths were different from each other．

    The left one was wide(宽阔的)and clean．{#blank#}2{#/blank#} Though the flowers weren't very beautiful-they made me feel good．I decided to take this path．But wait ! I looked at the right one．The path didn't look nice．It looked like it had not been cleaned for months．For a long time I couldn't decide which path to choose．

    {#blank#}3{#/blank#}It wasn't nice，but I didn't want to give up．At last, I came to the end of the path．Ah! There was a small garden there．It'was beautiful．There were trees, flowers and chairs there．I thought it was the nicest part of the park．

    Many people told me that there was nothing much to see in the park．Now I' d like to tell them that if they had followed the right way, they would have felt differently．{#blank#}4{#/blank#}I knew they didn't believe me．They couldn't even remember that path because it was so small．

    My trip to the park made me understand something about life．{#blank#}5{#/blank#}You may get a big surprise!

    Bikes are popular in the Dutch（荷兰）. In fact, nearly half of all travel in the Dutch is by bike. Now, one Dutch bike designer（设计师）, Thomas, has taken the country's interest in bikes by making a school bus bike.

    The big bike has eight sets of pedals (踏板) for kids, a driver seat for an adult, and three other seats, comfortably letting little kids for their trip to and from school. The bike even has a motor, which can help with high hills or at times when few kids on it.

    So far, Thomas tells Fast Company, he's sold 25 school-hikes, at a price of $ 25,000 each—less than it would cost to buy a traditional school bus with the same number of seats. Along with the traditional color, the bikes are colored yellow so that they can be seen easily.

    Thomas says he's sold school bus bikes to neighboring countries such as Belgium. England and Germany, but so far, the school bus bike hasn't been sold in the United States. If the U.S. agrees to buy this kind of school bus bike, it could do a lot of good to improve exercise for a young age and help them keep healthy.
