    I was used to feel sleepy in class and couldn't focus on the lessons the teachers give. As a result, not only did I do bad in my studies, but also my health went from bad to worse, about which I was often scolded by my parents. I was also worried my situation. About half a year ago, followed the head teacher's advice, I began to take part in some sport activities. I had kept on playing basketball for 45 minutes and so every day till today. Now my health has been greatly improved, so at the same time, I've made good progress in all my lessons. Physical exercise has changed me into an entire new person!

    I feel very lucky to have an English teacher like Jane. Though she is strict in us, we all like her. Not only does she teach us a lot of knowledges about English, but she has very good sense of humor. One day, she tells us that day's homework was optional, that meant we were free to choose whether to do it or not. On the next day, she asked whomever had done the homework to raise hands. Seen a few hands were up, she said, “all right, let's to turn to the page and see what your homework is.” When we turned to that page, some faces turned red immediate. That was a blank sheet of paper. What a smart way to test my honesty.

    I participated the Secondary School Program in Harvard last summer. I spend half of the day on my class and homework, and then I'd be free to do that I wanted. Since my course was an 8-credit course, it was a lot fast than other summer school course. I had to learn how to keep up with the pace of my class and figure out how to study efficient. For me, take notes was of great help. During my study, I also got to know many professors who was available for extra help whenever I needed it. The resources and opportunities combined with the environment here made me want to attend to Harvard even more. Now back in China, I often miss the experience of studying abroad.
