My grandfather is a{#blank#}1{#/blank#} (retire) worker. On summer evenings, we often sat together outside the house {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (enjoy) the cool air. It was the time that he told me lots of his experiences before liberation.

    When my grandfather was fourteen years old, he worked in a coal mine. One day, when he and his two workmates were working in the tunnel, an{#blank#}3{#/blank#} (fortune) thing suddenly happened. A part of the tunnel fell down, and they were shut in it. They had no food {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(eat). When they were hungry, they only drank some water there. It was very cold in it. In order to keep warm, they hugged one another. In the darkness, they didn't know whether it was day{#blank#}5{#/blank#}night, they only felt they had stayed there for a very long time. They were too hungry to speak or move, and thought they{#blank#}6{#/blank#}(die). At last, the tunnel {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(dig) through. They were saved. They had been there for fourteen days! My grandfather said they weren't let out at once. If{#blank#}8{#/blank#}，they would have died. They were kept at the entrance to the tunnel {#blank#}9{#/blank#}it was very dim, and they were fed{#blank#}10{#/blank#}some thin porridge. After a day or two, they had recovered a bit, and they were helped out.

When {#blank#}7{#/blank#} comes to a sunny afternoon, I love to take a seat outside, {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (bathe) in the afternoon sunshine, and listening to the lovely music {#blank#}9{#/blank#} tasting the most terrific Cappuccino. This is exactly what I love in here—the Starbucks! This is the café I love not merely because of the café itself, but also because of the {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (feel) it brings me.

Some parks are famous {#blank#}2{#/blank#} having the biggest or longest roller coasters, {#blank#}3{#/blank#} for showing the famous sights and sounds of a culture. {#blank#}4{#/blank#} and whatever you like, there is a theme park for you!

    The theme park you are {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (probable) most familiar with is Disneyland. With all these attractions, no wonder {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (tour) is increasing wherever there is a Disneyland.

    Dollywood is one of {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (unique) theme parks in the world. It has one of the world's largest bald eagle {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (preserve).

    In England's Camelot Park, every area of it is {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (model) after life in the days of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. There you can experience the ancient days and great {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (deed) of English knights and ladies, princes and queens.

I used to frequently visit an old age home{#blank#}1{#/blank#}(manage) by the little sisters of the poor in our city Hyderabad. A. P., India. There I met a gentleman by the name of Kurien in his late{#blank#}2{#/blank#}(eighty). He served the Indian army and retired. He has one son who is well educated and also married.

Mr. Kurien felt down with the life in his house{#blank#}3{#/blank#}decided to move into this old age home here in Hyderabad. We both began to share a lot of thoughts whenever we met and slowly it was a{#blank#}4{#/blank#}(day) affair that I used to spend some time with him discussing what he was doing in the army, camp fun etc.,{#blank#}5{#/blank#}he used to share with lots of joy.

I used to carry with me some snacks which we both used to sit under a tree and eat. I saw him really very happy in my{#blank#}6{#/blank#}(present). One day he told me with tears in his eyes "I really found a very good friend in you. I feel like{#blank#}7{#/blank#}(live) some more years to spend happy time with you.

As we departed, I told him, "Do not worry. We will have enough time together in the future." I had an official meeting and could not go to the old age home the next day. The day after when I reached the home, his room{#blank#}8{#/blank#}(lock). I enquired and found that he was no more. He died{#blank#}9{#/blank#}very night we both met last.

I really miss him. I have not given him anything worthwhile except{#blank#}10{#/blank#}I used to listen to his words and share his thoughts.
