My friend Robert has a twin sister named Amanda. They get along very well, but there are some things{#blank#}1{#/blank#}(puzzle) Robert. He can't understand how girls can talk for so long.

    We travelled to Zimbabwe not long ago.  Before we started, we'd been warned not just by one person,{#blank#}1{#/blank#}by many people.

The road conditions continued to worsen, but the {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(beautiful) of the region grew too. We climbed up and down the mountains and valleys {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(fill) with native birds and wildlife.

    We pulled into Kariba where the lake ends and the Zambezi River continues.{#blank#}9{#/blank#} it is just a small town in Zimbabwe, it brings people a lot. We felt that Zimbabwe had treated {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(we) nicely-it would be hard to leave.

In 1682, Edmund Halley, an astronomer, noticed a comet that was especially bright and large. Based on his calculations, Halley predicted that this bright comet would return in 1758 or 1759—this was about 75 years {#blank#}3{#/blank#} he first saw the comet. The comet really returned on time and it was named "Halley's Comet" in honor of Edmund Halley.
