Last week our class voted on how to do for you class outing: visit the Singapore Zoo and go to the Night Safari(夜间动物园). We girls wanted to go to the zoo, but since we are in minority, we lost to the boys, that all wanted the safari. We got the admission rate for the students, which was great since I still had not enough money to buy a brochure about the park as well as something at the souvenir shops. The safari was scary(吓人的)but real fun. As we took the ride across the park's dark jungle, we could see the eyes of many creatures look at us. Most of the animal there sleep when there sunlight and wake up at night.

Keeping a diary in English is the effective way to improve our English writing ability．

First, it takes little time to finish a diary than other writings．By keeping English diaries, we can easy form the habit of thinking about in English．

Second, we can practice use English idioms and useful structures in our diary-writing．If we have difficulty finding suitable words or phrases to express our opinion, we can turn in English dictionaries or teacher for help．This is also a kind of learning．If we can keep on doing this, we would gradually learn how express ourselves in English freely．

In a word, it was of great benefit to keep diaries in English．

Dear Mr. Headmaster,

I am writing to express my concern of the sports facilities on campus. I have noticed that our school has very limited resources in term of students' opportunities to do sports.

It's known to all what sports are very important to young people. If they have an access to good sports facilities, young people can adopt a healthy lifestyle and become more confident. I suggest build a new playground, where should be designed for students with different interests. They should have a different section for each activity and available to students all year round. I believe so a sports area will meet our sporting needs.
