Reading newspaper has become an important part of everyday life. Some people read newspaper as the first thing to do in the morning;  {#blank#}1{#/blank#}  read newspapers as soon as they have free time during the day so that they can learn what is {#blank#}2{#/blank#}  in the world.
   Sometimes, we do not have enough time to read all the news {#blank#}3{#/blank#} , so we just take a quick look at the front page. At other {#blank#}4{#/blank#} we may be in such a hurry that we only have a few {#blank#}5{#/blank#}  to look at the headlines of the passage.
   Newspaper can be found everywhere in the world. We can get many different {#blank#}6{#/blank#}  of newspapers in big cities, but in some mountains  {#blank#}7{#/blank#}  we can see few newspaper.
   Some kinds of newspaper are published once a week, but most of them are published once a day with many pages, some even published     {#blank#}8{#/blank#}  a day! You know different people enjoy reading different kinds of newspaper. Some like world news, and others prefer short stories. They just choose what they are {#blank#}9{#/blank#}  in.
   Today newspaper in English has the largest numbers of readers in the world. The English language is so popular that many Chinese students are {#blank#}10{#/blank#}  English newspaper such as China Daily or 21^st Century. Also they bring us more and more imformation with Internet.

    Anna is my good friend．She is thirteen {#blank#}1{#/blank#} old．She is the best student in her class and she is {#blank#}2{#/blank#} 1ate for school．She {#blank#}3{#/blank#} far from school．It's about fifteen kilometers {#blank#}4{#/blank#} her home to school．To get to school on time，she gets up{#blank#}5{#/blank#} every morning．At about seven o'clock，she {#blank#}6{#/blank#} her home．First she needs fifteen minutes {#blank#}7{#/blank#} to the bus stop．Then she takes the bus to school．It {#blank#}8{#/blank#} half an hour．At school，Anna's favorite {#blank#}9{#/blank#} is English．And it's her {#blank#}10{#/blank#} to be an English teacher．

    A sign is another kind of language. Here are some of them that you see on the roads.

    Number One is a sign with a number on it. When drivers see this sign with thirty on it, they must not go at more than thirty kilometers art hour. We see this sign when we are getting near a town.

    Number Two is a sign that we're near a crossing We must drive {#blank#}1{#/blank#}.

    Number Three is a sign that there is a bend(拐弯)on the road Again, we must drive slowly. It is not {#blank#}2{#/blank#}to go around a bend very last.

    Number Four is a sign that there is another road coming in {#blank#}3{#/blank#}the right There is a junction(交叉) at this place.

    Number Five is a sign that there is a hill and Number Six is a sign that the road gets narrow. Drivers must devote his attention to the drive and go slowly.

    Number Seven has the word "SCHOOL" on it. This is a sign that there is a school at the side of the street or the road Perhaps there are children going to or {#blank#}4{#/blank#}school, so drivers must drive with special care.

    Number Eight is a sign with the letter "P" on it. The letter "P" means "Parking". In some places, there are the signs "No parking" or "No waiting". {#blank#}5{#/blank#}a driver leaves his car near one of these signs, a policeman may come and write down the of the car.
