Everybody knows that it is dangerous to cross
the street without looking both ways in China. However, I had a different
experience in Berkeley, a beautiful city in California, US.

the car go first or not？Based on my old experience back

moment, I saw no sign the car was going to move, so I offered a "signal"
to let him go first.
